- Svami details uttara krthyam murai from perumal thirumozhi ooneru selvatthu. 5th pasuram: -kamba madha yaanai kazhuththagaththin melirundhu
kamba (give nadukkam) madha yaanai (kambam also has meaning of being pillar - one that they tie yaanai to, for controlling it) kazhuththagaththin melirundhu (but to aazhaar who is raja even that elephant is good to Him to sit on), inbamarum selvamum ivvarasum yaan venden (don't want the wealth and being a raja, instead i want...), emperumaan eesan (my svami- because I am saranaagathan; and also He is everyone's svami) ezhil (prakaasamaana) vengadamalai mel (on thiruvenkata hill), thambagamaay (sthambam/thoon) nirkum thavam uadiyan aavene (paramai kaanthis when visiting temple will do tapas sitting against a pillar, typically in viswaksenar sannidhi. aazhwaar says he wants to be that thoon against which they rest and do mananam of perumaal. By being that pillar, aazhwaar feels he can become, tavam udayen aavene). In varaaha charaam slokam He says that one, who has done the tapaas of saranaagathi, at end of his life, even if he is like a log or stone without sensation, He will think of him - aham smaraami mad bhaktham. So it is a great tapas to be the pillar against which bhaagavathaas rest and do japam - rather than being pillar they tie madha yaanai to; the former has yetram - such pillars can only be on ezhil (perumai migundha) venkata malai mel.
