Water spinach are a creeping and invasive plants. If you plant it on the ground, they are actively grown especially during rainy season.
No spesific fertilizer needed. But if you do want, organic fertilizer with extra Nitrogen like liquid FAA is recommended.
I think that this hydroponic method is more manageable to maintain their growth from spreading too much. Love from Malaysia ❤

These plants grow well in the water such as swamp, ponds. You can grow the seeds in the garden too but it requires a lot of water, like water twice daily.

coir is coconut fiber or coco peat while the seeds are of water spinach (from where I'm from, we call it kangkong).
