Fun fact: that little red dot on the T-72 is the rangefinder, which SHOULD be on the middle of the sight, but due to poor quality control during production at the time in the Cold War, will vary in placement, so when rangefinding with the T-72, place the dot over the target, not your crosshairs. That's how much attention to detail the devs put into this game.

And I was wondering what that space button do, since I couldn't make it work. Oh I hear the scream, at first I didn't pay attention, but later I noticed he shouts where about the enemy is 😅
"That's a lot of ammo, that's dangerous" I mean the point of that is sheer endurance in combat, though the end goal is to not get hit. If you are hit, you need to survive being hit. And empty space just makes survival a no-brainer but there's no point in surviving the hit if you can't fire back to neutralize the threat. Also, it's not like WT where you can have shells poof in out of thin air after sitting in a circle. Granted the load-outs are mission-dependent too. Every shot counts.
The idea in the M60 was not to use superior FCS and thicker armor than used in T-54/55 (similar to T-62.) Still, it lacked a lot against Soviet tanks before the FCS upgrade. In the Gulf War, the M60A1 obliterated T-54s, T-62s, and T-72s. But, during the Iraq-Iran war, Iran's army used M60A1 and lost almost all of it, fighting against T-54s and T-62s. So crew training comes to mind but also does air support, artillery support, infantry etc. The bottom line is THE THERMAL IMAGING SYSTEM GIVES NO CHANCE OF SURVIVING TO THE ENEMY NOT EQUIPPED WITH IT.
Yeah in real life I single bit of shrapnel hitting the ammo rack itself, not even the ammo in it also doesn't cause the tanks top to come off like in Warthunder.
The Abrams has the functional fire control system in the game, which means that when you lase a target not only does it elevate the gun, but it also gives you the exact amount of lead depending on the speed of the target. So you don't have to lead when shooting, just keep the crosshair on the target. Now if the target stops you should re lase the target because the fire control systems is going to keep the lead for when the target was moving.
Every tank in the game has it's own sort of "Gimmick" if you will. The NATO tanks set automatic fire solutions for hitting moving targets depending on your gun movement for 1.5 seconds before hitting the rangefinder key. It can make you miss a lot of shots if you dont know how to use it right. The T-72 has Delta-D, which automatically changes the range depending on how far you drive, so you can charge at a tank and stay at the right range calculation (the red dot is the rangefinder mark, it's in a random place in each tank like IRL). The T-55 has a horrible Stadia rangefinder so you miss most of your shots, but it has APHEBC rounds you can shoot light armor with, just for fun, since HEAT-FS is immensely better.
I find the T-55 sight to be not bad. While I would like a laser rangefinder, it is easy to use and adjust. The BMP-1 sight is terrible and very difficult to use.
@@MPdude237 I can never get the range right, even when it's like I can swear I did it perfectly. The only thing that makes it better is I can read cyrillic, so I can easily remember which range settings go to which round.
@@hedgeearthridge6807 That is true, the stadia is a bit tricky to use. Sometimes I use the stadia, sometimes I just send it and hope I estimated range right. @J Wilt GHPC is worth it, I spend 120 dollars on WT only to get angry but with Premium vehicles because bad tier configuration and unbalanced aircraft playing (should be more hard to go with planes in tanks mode). GHPC at least now looks like something that you will buy one time and will have it (I like more when you Just buy the game and have it) and the game is more like a simulator so there will be not things like LeOpArD 1 mEeTiNg Is3 WiTh A tIgEr 2 On ThE sIdE. Edit: only by the fact that the game have a mode where there is only tanks already is very good.
@J Wilt Actually I agree that gaijin is destroying WT trying to make Tank-plane battles in the way that they are doing, and as a TO player I'm already out of WT, the game is too destroyed and the pain of TO isn't only planes but a lot of things, but based on what you are saying planes players are also having trouble with gaijin choices, GHPC is a good option for TO players
@J Wilt I think general responsibility to WT players would be better (example: suicidal bombing = very high repair cost) but what I think that would be a lot better is historical tier line, the main tank gameplay problem is things like Tiger 2 WW2 tank meeting cold war tanks just for """balance""". Gaijin:"oh this cold war tank have almost no armor so we have to put it a tier down" but when you see that tank have a technology a lot more advanced like velocity and advanced ammo types for this time, the player has to know that a tank is (or not) bad in the time that it was built, you have to make a choice knowing that at that time this tank wasn't very good, you can't Just turn it into a delorean and make it being good in the past just because now this veichle is on time where all other veichles are less advanced. not only that the repair cost isn't fair, a agree that a good tank need a expensive RC but the tank have to be in their time line, meet only the tanks that existed in that time, no OT would be able to cry more if that happens
@J Wilt Actually would be very cool if they create a tank ONLY mode, like the plane mode. Then the game would have a mixed mode and a only tank/plane mode. So who wants to play mixed vehicles would play it and who want to play only tanks or only planes there would be gamemode for them. Just saying that this maybe will solve this problem, they don't need to ""rebalance"" planes because if someone don't like the way that it is they can just play the gamemode where there is only tanks and no planes.

Planes being able to whack you using an arcade mode, pointer aim instead of having to do flight controls to line up - which is a realistic challange - is just the start of Gaijins culture of FUBAR. I restored my account after realizing having a piece of junk I can drop at a moments notice was handy (being in a 24 hr care giver situation). Why cancell when the AI is going to use my gamer tag when I am not on: Several people I was squading with caught them doing that with a friend's gamer tag who was playing rocket league at the time, when I was running it on xbox... and it's impossible to be logged into two games at once on xbox - had to be Gaijin. I did premium with silver makers, got up to eleven million silver, and now truly play for free - not spending a dime - and just watching the shite show.
@Kashgari ''simulating realism'' WT has no Fire controll system no automatic fire suppresion system ghost shells suriving black ammo hits a Dice roll for cook off or Turret flying small as shit maps t80B has Thermals even dough it never had it same with the T-80U
@@rayotoxi1509 Weeeeell, it's a game, after all, not a tank simulator. Fire control system is not really needed in WT imo Automatic fire supression systems are coming, I am certain of that (I mean, they are already coming for planes next patch) Ghost shells are a thing since 2012, back when there were only planes and only arcade mode, but their number has decreased like 100 times since then. Surviving black ammo hits may actually happen in real life too. Rare, but possible. Dice roll for cook off/turret flying is pretty irrelevant in gameplay terms since your tank is already dead. Big maps are only needed for top tier though and people usually are the biggest fans of those (Vietnam, Red Desert, etc.) T-80B and T-80U are general names for a series of tanks. Let us take T-80U as an example. It is actually called Object 219AS (the base variant). From that base variant, multiple modifications were created. For example, Object 219AS-M. It's ALSO a T-80U, yet it has thermals and a new radio (Agava-2 thermals and R-163-50 radio). And that's the case with multiple T-80U variants. Furthermore, even the base T-80 (Object 219) had some units equipped with thermals. So whether to add one with or without thermals was really 50/50. They could've named the ingame variant after a variant that had 100% units equipped with thermals like T-80UM, for example, but eh. It's really pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
Thier is a game like that though from what I hear it's very early development and no multi-player. I think spookstoon did a video showing it off forgot what it was called
Steel crew vr is exactly that. It only has the Sherman Firefly and T-34-85 and it's obscure so not a lot of people play it but it's really immersive and fun
Just a tip if you hold your rangefinding key you can lead your target by following the path of the tank having your camera offset to the target but your aiming reticle should be right over your target and the lead will be calculated by the last 3 seconds of aim so just follow your target for 1-2 seconds or so, however long is necessary for you to predict it's travel path and then fire. (sorry if this was worded badly, i played war thunder for 11-12 hours straight and it is currently 1 AM)

I remember playing game called "T-34 vs Tiger" (it's older a bit; form 2007, but i highly recommend) which is VEEERY similar to GFPC. I'm soo happy seeing game like this
15:14 oh sweet sommer child. From the look of it, it seems the game simulated a real weapon assist system (dont know the real term in english, i was a german tanker and we called it WNA WaffenNachführAnlage). So if ya laser it a couple times (we did it 3 times), the gun calculated not only the distance, also the movement of the target. So you just have to aim directly on the tank to hit it. Thats why you shoot ahead of the them :D
I still remember playing the very first - Operation Flashpoint -Cold War Crisis. For its time the game was crazy fun, only one save per mission & it had 30+ missions. It was a true grind but so much fun…. Awee 1 is down, 2 is down, 5 is down…. Papa bear returning to base
Great upload! Thanks Betty. I'm looking forward to trying this one out once it's finished. Sorry, but I think some CAS assets would finish off the immersion factor with this one too. I know how much you dislike the aircraft portion of the battlefield. I had a great time watching!
Looks good. Would look better if without sacrificing any of the games simulation elements they could implement a casual round or objective based multiplayer game mode like conquest or something.
That FCS is weird at first glance, but once you got it, it does wonder ! No need to lead ! LASE, HOLD (for 3s)(gives you auto windage and elevation) SHOOT, PROFIT Also ; laser POV is the red circle on the reticle for russian tanks, not the top of the chevron

@@LaVaZ000 The game actually has far better damage models than Warthunder. You can even look it up as they also simulate all the shell types far better than Gaijin has
@@MrEpicSqueaky101 Better than warthunder? This...? are you out of your mind?
Always happy to see your uploads!
This game quickly became a favorite when i got it a couple days ago, the AARs are really good along with the round and collision simulations
The crew actually warns you of a tank in your area??!! Now that's freegin awesome! Great video as always, Dollar!! Thanks!
The air is so FRESH and CLEAN in this video.
I am going to have to follow development of this it looks VERY good, tons of potential.
Been supporting this game since they were hosted on itch. Highly recommend this game and supporting the devs. Thank you for playing this game DOLLAR!
15:17 when you lased target keep reticle ON target, not in front of it. Fire Control will calculate lead on it's own.
I realised it later
It is such a good game, more please!
I was so hyped!! then i saw it wasn't WT. Imagine WT having tank only battles. I'd play it again.
@Kashgari if it removes planes from ground AB/RB yes
Hopefully some day we'll have that in WT
@Kashgari ''simulating realism''
WT has no Fire controll system
no automatic fire suppresion system
ghost shells
suriving black ammo hits
a Dice roll for cook off or Turret flying
small as shit maps
t80B has Thermals even dough it never had it same with the T-80U
@@rayotoxi1509 Weeeeell, it's a game, after all, not a tank simulator.
Fire control system is not really needed in WT imo
Automatic fire supression systems are coming, I am certain of that (I mean, they are already coming for planes next patch)
Ghost shells are a thing since 2012, back when there were only planes and only arcade mode, but their number has decreased like 100 times since then.
Surviving black ammo hits may actually happen in real life too. Rare, but possible.
Dice roll for cook off/turret flying is pretty irrelevant in gameplay terms since your tank is already dead.
Big maps are only needed for top tier though and people usually are the biggest fans of those (Vietnam, Red Desert, etc.)
T-80B and T-80U are general names for a series of tanks.
Love your taste in music. You've turned me on to a new artist.
🤟🏻
You know it's good when you wake up and dollar uploads a video
This is pretty cool.
I like to fantasize about a multi-player VR tank game where you and other players can crew a tank in VR
Thier is a game like that though from what I hear it's very early development and no multi-player. I think spookstoon did a video showing it off forgot what it was called
That would be some next level immersion.
So literally il2 bos
Steel crew vr is exactly that. It only has the Sherman Firefly and T-34-85 and it's obscure so not a lot of people play it but it's really immersive and fun
pavlov does that in their WWII extension
GHPC looks very cool, I played the beta of the game, and I loved it
and this game will improve with time
What War Thunder sim mode should be honestly
Awesome that you made a video today, something to bring my mood up because I have covid
More of this amazing gameplay🔥🔥🔥
Just a tip if you hold your rangefinding key you can lead your target by following the path of the tank having your camera offset to the target but your aiming reticle should be right over your target and the lead will be calculated by the last 3 seconds of aim so just follow your target for 1-2 seconds or so, however long is necessary for you to predict it's travel path and then fire. (sorry if this was worded badly, i played war thunder for 11-12 hours straight and it is currently 1 AM)
Thanks, I'll need to try this out later.
Was worded perfectly 👌🏻
Ahhh new stuff to play with ❤And i do remember Alpine car cassette deck radio tuner ! 10w output ! hot stuff..... Coo edit and game play, and yes potentiale to be big. Well done thanx for upload.
Have a nice weekend all
dollar i fking love you, it's almost like you're following my taste, but with tons of meme and sweet talk over on a lovely editing work
you must admit the voice acting is realy cool especialy of the commander you can hear the difference when enemy is aiming at you and when not the nerves the stress everything
Oh yeah
_dollar when he realizes that devs are working in a CAS airstrike that you can call_
Lol Yeah but that's not the same as War Thunder CAS , wayyy different thing
still the plane will fly in the map drop bombs and fly out it wont stay and hunt for tanks and no aircraft in this game will be player controlled
Love that game, played it for few months now
True

You learned a valuable lesson. You fire until they explode or burn.
The comms in this this game sound absolutely fantastic
A few major upgrades and I wont have to think twice to change games
I remember playing game called "T-34 vs Tiger" (it's older a bit; form 2007, but i highly recommend) which is VEEERY similar to GFPC. I'm soo happy seeing game like this
This game has some of the best voice acting I’ve heard in awhile
Probably the best of all "tank" games
15:14 oh sweet sommer child.
From the look of it, it seems the game simulated a real weapon assist system (dont know the real term in english, i was a german tanker and we called it WNA WaffenNachführAnlage). So if ya laser it a couple times (we did it 3 times), the gun calculated not only the distance, also the movement of the target. So you just have to aim directly on the tank to hit it. Thats why you shoot ahead of the them :D
The English term is Fire Control System (FCS)
@@otter968 😎👍
JUST LOOK AT THE ACCELERATION SPEEDS!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!
This game seem to have so much potential, and seam already quite good
Anyway, thanks dollar to bring us more quality tank content
The master splitter part had me dead 😭🤣 “I got experience “
War Thunder: This one's too hot
SnowRunner: This one's too cold
GHPC: This one's *just* right
😂
I still remember playing the very first - Operation Flashpoint -Cold War Crisis. For its time the game was crazy fun, only one save per mission & it had 30+ missions.
It was a true grind but so much fun….
Awee 1 is down, 2 is down, 5 is down….
Papa bear returning to base
No CAS and no grind, that sounds perfect to me
The game has CAS lol
When you use the T72, you need to lase the range with the red circle, not the middle of the crosshair.
Oh, I wasn't sure what I should look at. I'll know next time thanks ;)
@@DOLLARplays I wasn't sure either. It's a bit weird but that's what the Russians wanted apparently
Just bouth it. Thanks for the review!!!
The crew talks faster and louder the more stressed they are i think
I played the hell out of the trial of this about a year ago but anything to get away from revenge bombing
Fuck yes, more of this game please. Cheers from Estonia
There was many a By-The-Way here. That reminds me of Bob Mortimer and his mates taking a trip to see the Gulf stream.(:
The crew voice and reloader voice make this game more good
Dollar's content is comedy, keep it up!
Great upload! Thanks Betty. I'm looking forward to trying this one out once it's finished. Sorry, but I think some CAS assets would finish off the immersion factor with this one too. I know how much you dislike the aircraft portion of the battlefield. I had a great time watching!
I don't mind CAS. It's just that us tank enjoyer don't have where to escape ;)
@@DOLLARplays Yeah, definitely with you THERE in WT. But I gotta admit that I love just watching the A-10, even if it's on my own kill cam! 😀
NO. NO, NO, NO. YOURE NOT RUINING THE GAME WITH CAS
@@elongated_musket6353the game has cas
Glorious content. May we have more this please?
I'll come back for sure ;)
This game starts literally where my will to grind in WarThunder ends. Might be a good idea to actually get it.
What remaining sanity you have left is well worth the money. You'll get more from this than you'll ever will a lone T-72 or XM-1.
On my wishlist waiting to buy it next sale
This game looks promising, I will put it in my wishlist later.
It's not "dangerous", it's a realistic full combat load of ammunition.
not dangerous until you get hit
Dangerous from War Thunder point of view, but you're right
Yeah I would love to be in an explosive pine box.
@@thelitmango6333 think about it, death is painless at that point
Yeah, finally! I wanted to see this
Ngl, I waited for him to play this game, pretty much warthunder's new competitor.

Turret Throwing Olympics has started
Amazing video as always
Looks good. Would look better if without sacrificing any of the games simulation elements they could implement a casual round or objective based multiplayer game mode like conquest or something.
this game looks interesting and looks good
What a good way to start a weekend!
So it happening,Dollar plays GHPC :D
Commander: GUNNER SABOT TANK! TRAVERSE RIGHT! Fire!
Dollar: Traverses left
Commander: FIRE!!!
Dollar: *dial-up connection noises* Where is my team? *dies*
hope this game be very successful. Its realy important to have an alternative to this "fretoplay pay to win" shit that dominate the market.
Yeah, some good competition would be great for us consumer's
Looks good so far, loving the no planes....thanks for the video betty ( send it )
🤟🏻
only planes what you will get here is CAS call in you mark it on the map and a plane will come attack and fly out of the map
I was waiting for that!
I never thought hull down tactics is actually pretty difficult to do in real life... This game is really promising
Bro just spawned in and started blasting everyone
Game reminds me of good old Steel Beast from early 2000s first tank simulator i’ve played
Yes finally they did it and still great content
From the First Seconds of gameplay, this looked Like a modernized Panzer Elite. Well, time so save eine Money, I've been waiting
It caught my attention, it will be reason to try it.
Looks fun, I’d like to eventually try it out.
I can't even call what this guy does in his video war crimes.
Because he just proceeds to commit mass fratricide in the first four minutes alone.
Super early access and already my favorite tank game
I JUST bought this
Betty you are now telepath lord
El momento que toda latinoamerica estaba esperando
That FCS is weird at first glance, but once you got it, it does wonder !
No need to lead ! LASE, HOLD (for 3s)(gives you auto windage and elevation) SHOOT, PROFIT
Also ; laser POV is the red circle on the reticle for russian tanks, not the top of the chevron
I love how I got a War Thunder ad before this video
Key piece of advice with the m1 while the fcs will track lead after you lase the target you'll need to clear it ctrl+e
Oh I didn't know, thanks ;)
I love money. I love all money, but this DOLLAR has a special place in my heart 💓
