Yeah Duncan bay is real place. Little bit out from Campbell river which is northwest from Vancouver. It’s kinda like this, but as it’s a popular spot with tourists on sailboats and powerboats, the random roads are bit better maintained

As for the swamps and hills: some 70% of the province isn't habitable by current building standards due to terrain. Also, if you've heard of Tofino, note that its only had *A road* since the 1950s, and a paved road since the 1970s.

It was also kind of relaxing watching you play, perhaps more than actually playing it. One of the best maps I would say. Well I put mud tires on because they had better stats in mud. So should be better. But I feel like even with stock tires you can make it work.

As someone who is from British Columbia and has been to Duncan Bay, this map is kinda accurate. Duncan bay is on Vancouver island which is much more rural than mainland BC, especially in this area. But there is especially not this as much accessible area in the higher elevations. The random roads are also better maintained than depicted. Duncan bay gets tourists on big sailboats and power boats as their main source of income for the area, so if tourists want to explore, the roads have to be usable for everyone. The towns in game are pretty accurate too.
