when sam and dean hugged after dean killed Cain, Jensen actually accidentally stabbed that other knife into Jared's leg and Jared just decided to keep going anyways. there is a convention somewhere where they argued about it lmao
Fun fact: after the fight, when Dean almost collapsed and Sam caught him, Jensen accidentally stabbed Jared in the leg with the other knife, and they still finished the scene. Jared was okay, and now they laugh when they tell the story.
Yeah it was awesome. Tim Omundson did a great job and had nice dialogue written for him. That's one thing I'll give the writers credit for in season 10.
This for me was one of the most nerve-wracking episodes. The very real possibility of Dean going full on dark side was shown here and the entire fight scene just seemed so suspenseful. Also Dean being supposed to kill Sam 😱
I still can't believe how AMAZING this episode is. I live how invested you are in this, and I cannot wait for the end of this season and the next one, which is my personal favorite season.
S10, so many gut wrenching moments to see you react to. It sounds harsh but loved this one too. Honestly it's why I watch reactors; to get to experience that rush of first time watching all those amazing moments.
I loved Rowena the moment she appeared; same way with Crowley. There's just something (at least in fictional worlds) about that charismatic baddie who, from time-to-time, works with the protagonists. They add a bit of color (as well as muddle the lines between good and evil) to the narrative.
Timothy Omundson (Cain) had a major stroke about 3 years after this. He was a star on tv series Psych. I recently watched the 2nd Psych movie where they incorporated his stroke into the story line and he guest starred. He is doing so much better thank goodness.
Damn I didn't know he had a stroke. I hope he's better now and has fully recovered and there isn't any long term damage, or at the very least that it's very minimal and he's fully mobile. I thought he was a great actor & the perfect one to play Cain after seeing him in that role when he first appeared in First Born. It was great to have him back and I always thought he looked badass with the hairstyle he had here.
And Now Sweet Dakara, it is time to watch/react to the Hillywood Supernatural Parody. There are 2 of them, the first one is more relevant to where you are in the show. Which is why we have waited for you to reach this point. Both are awesome. I am looking forward to your reaction to at least the first parody, but after seeing that one I am sure you'll want to watch/react to the second as well.
Well, you wanted some "nice juicy plot"! Here ya go! *LOL* Seriously though, I love this episode! It's honestly one of my favorites of this season. Timothy Omundson is just amazing as Cain! (And I really dig his hair. There's some fun behind-the-scene photos of him and Jared both with their hair back in man-buns and it's hilarious!) I just, I felt SO bad for Dean during the last part of that fight. After he got the blade, and he practically begged Cain to tell him that he didn't have to do this. That Cain COULD stop. (Because to me anyway, that felt like the last thin thread of Dean's hope, that Cain would be able to resist the Mark.) And I think Cain was fully aware of that, because the way he responded, that he would never stop, he knew what it meant for Dean. And I think that's why Dean's expression was so conflicted after he killed Cain. Because essentially he was killing his last hope that he would be able to fight off its effects. I also love that for all Sam's encouraging words, he was KNEW how Dean was really doing. I mean, he was already concerned after the end of last episode when Dean said he was done looking for ways to get rid of the thing. And now that other big option, that Dean could resist it seems to have been sunk like the Titanic. (Thanks Balthazar.) Anyway, I loved your reaction to this episode and I look forward to more!
There's consulting-cannibal on tumblr she does amazing little comics kida like crack what if for episodes and she made one for this, and it's Cas swallowing the blade 😂😂
Honestly, I'm pretty much here for Cain's hair... like really. I was waiting for this episode to come and now the feelings won't let me write anything beyond a bunch of gibberish and you deserve better than that so, I'm just gonna say I GOT THE FEELS! I just can't come up with something that comes close to express what Cain's situation does to me, I feel kind of bad for him because even if it doesn't change anything of what he did, he was a victim of the Mark all the same... now Dean, gosh, those eyes and that tired, resigned expression breaks my heart every time. Dean wants to keep fighting, he really does and is trying with his all but it's getting to him and I just can't with my life when he suffers. That conversation with Cain, it's one of my favorites, I have to say, those always are. o/
I loved how nervous you were during this episode!you almost got teary😂😭the thing Dean did, hurt Crowley true but I really don't blame Crowley for not giving so much attention to Rowena's words!she's hilarious right but she was really annoying during S10 especially during this episode!the fact is this that she was acting around Crowley like she knows everything, what's best for him and...her words maybe true but from Crowley's POV:he was a child who was abandoned by his mother in 18th century which changed his life forever!he couldn't even be a good father to Gavin and selling his soul, going to hell, getting tortured(by unknown timeline)becoming a demon and then king of the crossroads and then king of hell!Rowena was talking like becoming king of hell was like just going to school and college for Crowley!while if Crowley had his mother, her love and a true idol,he would never suffer this way!so I really don't blame him for not accepting Rowena or her lectures as his mother!I still can't get over the fact that they did so much dirty with Cain's character!I didn't want him to die!I really wish he could give some kind of advice to Dean!so he can figure out,who he's gonna be with the Mark and help him in that path!his power and experience!and his actor😍and yes,Dean has kissable lips😍but I should confess, watching this episode was so hard in the first time and even in re-watch😭😭😭
I saw videos from S10 and the comments which were written during that time and year!most people hated Rowena and were afraid to loose Crowley and have to tolerate his mother for the rest of the show
I love Rowena. She's great! Wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her, which with my back I can't throw anyone, so yeah don't trust her at all, but Love her as a character in the show.
I absolutely love your reactions💕Tho this season is giving me knots in my tummy, knowing what’s things/events are coming in the rest of it and how season 10 ends, your so lucky that season 11 is already waiting for you coz waiting for the season 11 premier was killing me yrs ago.... Hun💕prepare yourself for the rest of this season and Don’t wear makeup during the season 10 finale.....
Awesome episode dakarajayne. Although this episode seems to contradict the free will message since Cain says the boys are destined to fight each other. Also notice that when dean stabbed Cain, he didn’t light up like abaddon. So is Cain really died?
Come on have you forgotten that Crowley is the reason why Dean has mark of cain so Crowley can have Dean as his sidekick, I can like a character but doesn't need that I want the boys to trust people like Crowley.
I hate Rowena because of the manipulation. I hate anyone that manipulates people in general though. If it wasn’t for the manipulation, she’d be awesome.
@@Ivyy__1234 It's pretty much what a certain ancient character told Dean in the season 10 finale and is the reason he was going to take him to a certain place where Dean couldn't kill anyone.
They kinda needed Crowley after Cains death, incase Dean went crazy but why Dean didn't pretend to hand over the blade n stab Crowley then. I dont know!
No.... they didn't. In fact Cain made direct mention that Dean was also on his list of descendants he intended to eventually kill. (And I'd assume Sam would be on it too since he was planning on being so thorough.) He also called Dean "My son" a time or two. So they definitely didn't retcon that.
The show has only 7 episode left but a still hopes Cain is alive. I mean we didn't really saw Dean killing him, we didn't saw a body. He is one of my favorite characters ! Things for Dean are only gonna get worse. Even if they figure it out ... Wait till season 11. Can't wait for season finale there is so much more about the mark !
great week starting Dakara treat! and one that gave us the "juicy and tasty plot development" and your Dean/Jensen lips thirsting.... lol very interesting to see what's developing between Rowena/Crowley and "who might be manipulating who?".... and the foreboding to seeing Dean trying to keep a strong face when it's obvious that he's in trouble..... nice Karate Kid comment.... (and wouldn't mind seeing you react to the reboot from YT/Netflix if you find some time in your schedule,) great stuff D that'll get you 2 CTU's from me..... keep em coming, miss future Rowena.... stay in the light, Grayson! lol..... just kidding and keep em coming!

Twelve Hundred Miles real knife?
@@addiletsplay1996 Yes, it was a real knife. But it didn't stab deep into his leg, just enough to draw blood, enough to feel it.
Twelve Hundred Miles okay! Good!
@@twelvehundredmiles5330 If I remember correctly, the blade went about an inch into his leg. Almost positive that's what Jared said.
nekochanninja that sounds right. I couldn’t remember exactly how deep he’d said, and I didn’t want to say a number and be wrong. LOL
Loved cain's speech what dean would do to the guys.

The way Cas is Dean's Colette. Shrug emoji..
I really loved that Dean let fall himself in Sam. He isn't afraid anymore to show Sam his "weak" side.
This for me was one of the most nerve-wracking episodes. The very real possibility of Dean going full on dark side was shown here and the entire fight scene just seemed so suspenseful. Also Dean being supposed to kill Sam 😱
I love this episode so much, love the parallels between cain and Dean, love that Dean trusted cas with the first blade instead of crowley.
Dean looks so broken that is physically hurts me to watch this
