NOON REPORT Explained

This is a detailed video on the procedure to make a NOON REPORT for your ship. The report is made at noon and figures are calculated and report has to be sent to the company.
The wording used like EOSP, RFA COSP, HARBOR STEAMING Etc. are explained in a different video.

What does it mean 5.8 ?

Sir, suppose you started sailing yesterday evening at 1812. So, the time you had sailed yesterday (from noon to midnight) is 12-6.2 = 5.8 hrs.
Then, when you make a noon report today, another 12 hours get added.
So, the total from yesterday noon to today noon will be 12 + 5.8 =17.8 hrs.
