  • This video shows just how tough rubber maid products are. Only reason tank split is because it was already damaged. Not very loud, the black tank is part of the vacuum system that displaces air in the target (female die) pulls it down to quarter atmosphere. I have the tank in line with my vacuum pump for two reasons; first any water hitting the vacuum pump will destroy it. The second is that the pump pulls vacuum too slow.
    The thing I call the hat holds the oxygen and acetylene mix. I was told that the pressure wave of the blast move about 25 meters per second.

    A German engineer (I believe his name was Alfred Heaussler) perfected this method back in WW2. They used this to make bomb casings.

    Nice experiment but why was it necessary to play loud music; it robed the event of its glory.

      nice experiment wet spots prove you were to close! Don't take this the wrong way because I have nothing against bagpipes, but did you know that looped music was developed by mad scientists to drive us all insane? already there????????

      you haven't noticed that almost all docu"s tend to drowned out the dialog, with over bearing! volume in the music! I believe this tendency, comes from the entertainment factor! people are more interested in being entertained than being educated! Even on national public radio I have found that you have to turn up the volume in order to hear the conversation, then the segue music tends to blow out your speakers or at least your ears!
      squeaky wheel gets the grease!!!!

      I actually liked the music. It fits very well. Some advanced sound engineering won't hurt though, I agree. Like cranking the music down during dialog, for example.

    You more nuts than me!! I got one for you to try...plastic soda pop bottle...2 litter wors fine...need air compressor that makes at least 155 psi. screw the cap on the oda bottle tight, get your handy dandy air blow gun, drill a hole in the cap so the tip op the blow gun fits into it, put your safety glasses on...hold the end of the bottle with one hand, blow gun in the other a pull the trigger...i have done over 200..never had a problem...kinda odd..most any plastic bottle..even super thin 12 oz water bottles will hod 140 psi

    • @railgap
      @railgap 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope: his vacuum was insufficient, and so was the edge clamping. You need a GOOD vacuum for EHF to work; venting is no good, there is no TIME for gasses to pass through a vent.
