Another great champion from the best trainer ever, RIP Bart Cummings, no one will come close to what you have achieved in horse racing.

One of the very best in a champagne year.

I knew Taj Rossi very well in Adelaide where he came to freshen up after his fantastic spring in Melbourne. He got loose swimming at West Beach one morning and stressed out badly ,bleeding from both nostrils. He was never the same again.

Interesting . One of the very best three year olds in a champagne year. Taj was the best.

What about the 1974 stuff ? A big Saturday race day in Melbourne with a big stakes 4 horse race, with two decent gallopers and 2 no-hopers. You can have 7 to 4 about Leica Lover and, say, 2 to 1 about Taj Rossi. And you can have all of 50 to 1 about Bonopolis, and 33 to 1 about the other nag. And its 2 sets of 2 horses separated by 10 to 15 lengths for the vast balance of the race. I think it has not become halcyon and considered cult, but, rather, is since deemed retrograde and unseemly.
