Thanks for posting this, i remember that show very well. I was a presenter at 3CCC from 1990 when they were on 103.9 and later when they moved to 89.5. I did a few fill ins for the southern star show. Anyway thanks for sharing and all the best.

What a beautiful Greek-Australian woman Mary Kostakidis was in the 1990s. I was living with my relative in the 1990s in Melbourne, Australia. I would specially tune in not to get the news. But to watch Mary Kostakidis. Beside being a superb news presenter. She was one hot lady back in the day. But then again a lot of Greek women are extremely good looking people.

Growing up in Noble Park, Sandown was our local. There was around 7-8 of us there that day, it started to turn into a massive piss-up from 89 onwards and huge fights would break out under the grandstand in the hot/windy conditions after a day of sinking cans. I had Ideal Centreman that day. Afterwards we went across the road to the Sandown and later that night onto Lasers at the Waltzing Matilda in Springy lol

Thank you so much for uploading this also. Every time I Watch the videos of the coverage from the Mid-1990s until 2001, I think of how woeful the 2019-2023 coverage was which I think looked more like what we saw from Channel Seven from 2002 until 2018. I hope Nine can match this sort of coverage for 2024-onwards.
