They were general knowledge of geography! Pray tell which questions were about, history, math, art, physics, chemistry biology, law, finance, space, astrology, sport, aeronautics, religion, languages, genetics....? None.
Only had to guess the answer to one question, the Hawaiian volcano, and picked the wrong Mauna. So 39/40. To be fair this quiz has to be for those still at school. Entertaining nevertheless.
39/40 I got the most common or used male name wrong. I thought John. John or forms of John like Ian, Ivan, Juan, Jan, Sean, Shaun, Shawn & Jean John. would be the most if You counted all the forms of John. Just saying
Technically, some parts of the world such as Suriname (in South America) or St Pierre and Miquelon (near Canada) are parts of France, but not European.
100K Quizzes, in Q 9, you mispronounced 2 of the 3. A = MAU-nah KAY-ah, not MAU-nah KEY-ah, and B = kill-ow-A-ah, not kill-ow-EE-ah. Next, 25C is pronounced 'whay', not WHO-eh. Q 39A is yanked-SEE, not YAHNKT-suh. I got 2 wrong.
Manchuria is not what the northwest part of China is called. In the early 20th century, that was the name Japan adopted when they invaded the area. On a M*A*S*H episode, they referred to it as Manchuria as well. But the Korean War was in the 1950s. By this time, China had already declared itself a nation in 1949. Trust Americans to not know geography
There's no such country as North Korea. Its name is Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. The record for the highest temperature is 56.7°c in 1913. No such country as Turkey. Its name is Türkyie, or more formally, the Republic of Türkyie.
@Doctor-vn8es, for decades it was known as N. Korea. On the same track, we don't insist French-speaking people say we're from the United States of America, nor do we insist the Hispanics not say "Los Estados Unidos". It's called language differences, for pity's sake.

37/40. Some of the questions had the answer in the accompanying picture, but I knew them anyway.
@johnawalker9261, yeah, I noticed that, too.
Question 41 .What TH-cam channel doesn’t know the difference between geography and general knowledge ….. 😎
It can be both
They were general knowledge of geography! Pray tell which questions were about, history, math, art, physics, chemistry biology, law, finance, space, astrology, sport, aeronautics, religion, languages, genetics....? None.
Fell apart towards the finish. Some were deductive guesses, some had the answer in the picture. 37/40.

Congratulations! You've done well
That was my reasoning too. However, a large proportion of muslims are named Muhammed or a variant thereof, so it might be right after all.
@christopherx7428 good point !

#27 doesn't show the Kremlin or a part of it. It shows St. Basil's Church which is located on Red Square (outside of the Kremlin).
Thanks for the observation 👍
Re question 30, what is the non-European part of France? Didn't know such existed.
Technically, some parts of the world such as Suriname (in South America) or St Pierre and Miquelon (near Canada) are parts of France, but not European.
@@daydreamer8662Suriname is an independent country which was a colony of the Netherlands until 1975…. I think you refer to French Guyana.
@@knorrie63 Oops, yes, I meant French Guiana. Strangely, I've been to (British) Guyana back in the eighties

Thank you for the comment 👍
I'm not American, so I'm not offended. But don't make snippy comments when you get your East and your West confused.
@@caeruleusvm7621 Somebody's panties are in a bunch. I hope that doesn't offend you
Better than you as was my= best subject at school and still is.
Click bait, these are just general knowledge questions a real geography test would ask the participant to point out countries on a blank map. Weak.
