  • The Rev. Forbes Matonga, a pastor at the Nyadire Mission Center in Zimbabwe, says the Way Forward’s work didn’t do enough to include the views of the more than 4 million African United Methodists.
Matonga spoke with UM News as part of “Seeing a Way Forward,” a video series featuring different perspectives of church leaders on the work of the Commission on a Way Forward.

I am sorry for the way in which the African Church has been treated regarding this matter. I pray continually for repentance and a revival of God’s Spirit to move over this land.

Everything he is saying is right on point. And most Methodist that go to church every Sunday don't even know about the upcoming vote. I'm saying MILLIONS! It's a sad day for the faith how a lot of this has been kept secret.
