- On February 19th, the World Health Organisation issued a clarification stating that it had not reviewed or certified the effectiveness of any traditional medicine for the treatment of COVID-19.
This clarification was issued in the wake of the claim made by Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved that its Coronil tablet had received certification from the WHO.
The Wire analyses the ecosystem of pseudoscience that surrounds COVID treatment in India.
