Rob, I have been following you for the past year through COVID. You are an inspiration through those difficult times. Achieving the goal, step by step, from disaster for your team, and see the only RUNNING Nashorn in the world driving around brings tears to my eyes. The engine selection for this machine is perfect, it is what I was expected to ear. I will certainly attempt to go to Militrack to see the Nashorn, and luckily to meet you in person. For you and your team, I have a great respect.
Wow,great to see the work you have done to keep this vehicle on the road, only wish my father could have seen it to be a18 year old recruit driving this for the first time in 1943 with abt 655 .Would love to see it ,may get there this year.
@@jackofalltrades164 if I did, it is indisputably my absolute favorit on YT, such a rare vehicle, and that fire power it packed too !!!!👍 👍 👍 Just don't understand why more people didn't jump on this thread???
For those whose reading this. Fun fact this was one of the only tanks that ever knocked out the newly deployed pershing. It was sitting hulldown and destroyed a pershing. There was onmy 20 pershing that was deployed before the war end and they one got destroyed by a Nashorn which was also rare to see on the western front. So it's an honor to see this tabk restored to working order.
Your restoration is looking fantastic! 👏 incredible watching it on muddy tracks and roads. A testament to your hard work and tenacity. Very well done! 👍
Mooie beelden!
It is great to see the only Nashorn going around the forest with a great sound! I do have a dumb question: is the engine underpowered or the gearbox has the wrong ratio? Because it seems to have difficulty to climb on certain slopes and has no difficulties on other places. Perhaps because you keep the engine running with too low rpm sometimes? Just guessing but nevertheless you did a wonderful job, congratulations 👍👍👍👍
"Whauw" Great to see the Nashorn back at Overloon.Nice new tracks on the tank. 1 Quistion...Can we expect a new testdrive at Overloon?or is the next one at Militracks 2022 ?thx and good luck with everything on the Nashorn:)
Ganz große Klasse, was Du da machst!
@@jackofalltrades164 Plse explain some more, what engine was selected for a substitute? Might be another video how to replace the Maybach with a Deutz engine....
Was this filmed with a Nokia or a potato? For a channel with this much potential, you really need to get a better camera and someone who knows how to use one
Nashhorn in it's happy place. Great seeing it up and running again.
Beat the heck out of the fenders, unfortunately, I mean because it's such an incredible restoration! Tracks are great I'm sure, just a bit loose.
it's not good to get the tracks to tight and is also not really possible to get them very tight. seen original pictures with tracks way looser.
Glad to see it being put through its paces.
What a great restoration you've done here ! Congratulations guys !
What an impressive machine. Your time and labor spent during the project really paid off!
Well done!

Just brilliant - looks and sounds great!
It does!
Geweldig om hen zo te zien
Bloody outstanding sir!!!
Lovely 😊 who needs a Tiger lol😅
Zeldzame machine die toch wel een Maybach HL 120 TRM 300 PK motor zou moeten hebben. Proficiat met de restauratie.
Very cool!
Wow, just looking awesome!!
Thank you so much 😀
wat een geweldige prestatie heren
Mooie camouflage, ziet er gaaf uit
Awesome
How freaking bad ass !!!
Nice to see it in the the woods. Great job. Looking forward to Militracks allready. It looks like you need some lower gearing for the corners.👌
Thanks for the tips!
This is so cool! Great work!
wow what a beauty.... imagine this beast comes towards you during war, you will be shitting your pants.

Just built one of my own
What brand?
I assume you fired the guy who forgot to tension the tracks... 😀. Only joking, looking great guys. Hope fenders are OK.
WOW!
Excellent work - be proud of your accomplishment! What was the source of the tracks?
If you’re interested i can get you a quote for a new set

Rob, so what now when this one is as good as done, will there be more resto videos or are you planning on procuring another WWII object?
we are looking at other projects as well and also work on the interior.
@@jackofalltrades164 thanks...hope it'll be Kubelwagen, Willys, Panther IV - V or even Tiger??? 🙃 🤣
Great job - is the Nashorn equippped with its original HL 120 engine...?
No, not the original engine. If I understan correctly from an earlier video, the Maybach engine is very rare way too expensive.
Its a Deutz V12 engine

it's filmed with several phones as wel as with a canon camera.
