As a tiffie in the sandf its nice to see a smail 20 like this ,very very capable vehicle off road ,and goodluck bleeding the brakes on it if you ever have too
The SAMIL Mk. 1 was fitted with a 6,1 litre Deutz air-cooled diesel. The Mk 2 had the Mercedes OM 352 water-cooled engine of 5,7 litre displacement. Both of these units developed around 120 hp and were normally aspirated. You mention a a turbocharged 5,7 litre engine. I assume this vehicle is a Mk. 2, with the water-cooled unit, but apparently the normally aspirated unit was replaced by a turbocharged OM 352, of around 170 hp?
