- War Robots 9.7 Gameplay: 6x Full Corrosion Trickster Dagon, doing like 95% of it's damage output via corrosion - and a lot of it. Anything with a shield is a nightmare but anything else has a problem. However, I'm afraid, we won't see this setup anymore after 9.8, because it will nerf these corrosion weapons sooo hard, unless - hopefully - Pixie listens to a lot of our feedback and re-considers some of those changes.

6x Full Corrosion Trickster Dagon, doing like 95% of it's damage output via corrosion - and a lot of it. Anything with a shield is a nightmare but anything else has a problem. If you ran daredevil and the corrosion pilot (15% more direct damage), then maybe it would have had more luck against shields.
The tricksters are already great and well balanced as they are currently
Maybe decrease the corrosion by 30% and that becomes a perfectly balanced weapon

I had the craziest glitch ever in a team death match I tried to spawn my mender but it spawned in a scorpion that wasn’t even mine I looked at my hanger in battle and I still had all five bots so it gave me a glitched free scorpion as a 6 bot
This is a game based around robot customization but yet there is only 2 to 3 bots that are viable out of the 100 or so bots around lol. Pixo knows how to show ONLY what they want you to use.
the thing that surprises me is not the severity of the nerf but the fact that the people in the developer team that are responsible for balancing these new contents did a terrible job at it but still havent got fired because this is not the first time nor the last time we will see this happens, and this wouldnt be a reoccurring thing if Pixo fired those people and hire people that can do a better job at balancing content in the first place

The nerf is absolute bonkers. 0.5s is a really big time interval for each shot. 0.2 would've been an ok nerf but I think it was unnecessary to do so. Hopefully they would change that.

Hey Manni. Recommend a weakness on the Newton. When the Newton applies the choke, it opens up it's hull. Make that a weakness. If you can shoot it into that while lifted, then it can cause extra huge amount of additional damage or completely destroy it with one shot.
It doesn't have a armor or so such that the hull is more vulnerable. It just has too much hp for a sniper titan
Another weakness to add to your idea: If Newton looks away from the target it lifted, the target immediately drops.
Bonus weakness/strength if the devs are feeling passionate: If the Newton then looks at another target within the ability's range, that target will only accumulate gravity-amp effect, but if it doesn't find another target then the Newton itself accumulates gravity-amp effect for the remaining duration of its opened state.
the nerfs they did to the rust & dot weapons is literally the exact same nerf that they did to other rust weapons (claw, jaw, and talon) just slowing their fire rate and they will be completely useless.
Figured just got two trickster two tamer kephri. Stop the nerfs

i know why it is getting nerfed. Cuie and another Titan have to ability to get extra health and they are very hard to kill because of the fast recharge of the ability. I was planning to use corrosion to counter them. Pixonic notice that the corrosion maybe able to counter these new robots and titan, so they nerf this weapons to the ground immediately
You are probably right.
The nether with the shield breaker pilot with tricksters might work well for bypassing shields.
Manni. I also experimented with this corrosion, and its like you say, it brings a different aspect to the game where trolling and other strategies comes into play, the delayed kill effect is so satisfying, and its so lame from Pixonic to actually make this weapens to nothing. Pixonic doesnt know what the community needs at all. And they don't listen. They are growing their own grave. And its getting deeper with each update. If they need to nerf the Tricksters for instance, start with the range from 600m to 500m and first see how it goes, if its still OP, then maybe try to limit the corrosion duration from 15 seconds to maybe 10 seconds. But now they nerf every aspect if this weapon. Which means its basically dead, and nobody will use it anymore. Pixonic = Money. Thats it!
I don't have these weapons but I agree they are cool and should be left alone for a longer while before they try anything. It wasn't even that long ago since they halved their corrosion but removed the stack limit.

What’s sad is the dot weapons r actually somewhat balanced because u can counter heal, phaseshift and shields prevent it
DoT weapons even help the enemies charge up their Repair Amps. Also, Revenant has 100% DoT resistance in its ability.

You can’t make nearly as much “mistakes” as pixonic, they literally TRY to make all the mistakes possible…
Manni its better for you to replace a trickster for a tamer in order to block the healing capability of the enemy , therefore makes them die briefly and surely.
It would be a nice buff if corrosion could be applied to shields, just didn’t do as much damage to the shields, such as the corrosion doing 75% of it’s normal damage while affecting shields and doing 100% of its damage when affecting the robot. Ofc the 75% should shift (if needed) to make the corrosion against shields actually balanced.

The problem with these weapons is that you can simply shoot a clip at the enemy and just walk away, the rust effect will do the rest. Many, are you going to make a video about how broken Curie is?
Rust effect doesnt deal damage to the enemy. It reduces healing and defense points
@@Villainarc_Leo Extra correction: "Rust" effect only reduces healing. What reduces defense points is the "Fragility" effect found only in the Talon rockets family.
Well in my humble opinion, although the nerf seems hard those weapons family (dot, rust) are broken, and we all know what happened to claw, jaw and talon, a good balance could reduce the time effect to 7-10 second and the distance to 500mts so they still can deal good damage, recharge mother ship quickly and make a kill in two clips discharge
The rust ones are broken, but the DoT ones never were.

The in-game descriptions of all corrosion weapons show DoT and its upgrades based on its damage per second. A DoT stack *always* ticks once per second. So no.

I love them because I can let them shoot me to charge my repair amps and then cancel their corrosion with a built-in phase shift (Ravana, Angler) or corrosion immunity (Revenant).

And now it's basically a T1 weapon, but of course they hide that by keeping it T4 and now trying to get people to waste money on it. The nerf should NOT have affected the unique 15-seconds DoT duration.
Manni try crisis robot with hel cryo weapons. It metls titans like it slow them down makes them difficult to turn around and their movement is so decreased that you can get out of tough situations....by the way thank you for bringing such great news.❤😊

@dongphamxuan5185 but it's and energy ammo. I know that reload time is not sufficient but it can get you out some difficult situations and also deal good damage.
So you can shoot at reflectors and not take the receiving damage, and you cant charge up the enemies absorbers when you shoot them?
No bc dot bypasses all types of resistance as well as the blast effect
What you *can* charge up is the enemies' Repair Amps 👍

a real shame for these weapons after the effort I made to find 2 of them since they introduced them into the game pixonic always promptly ruining future projects of robots and combinations the thing that always makes me fucked up and nervous that we players can never count to possess valid weapons, especially those of us who are out of the champions' league, useful weapons that we would need to be able to move forward, always prevented by the time we receive these weapons, unlike those who spend money like crazy and consume them for over 3 months, this is the death of the game lack of everyone being the same without distinction between those who spend little and those who spend a lot😔😡

@@tedspeed3338 let’s say a robot has 6 weapons equipped with each weapon dealing 100 damage, or 600 in total. Later, each weapon gets a 10% damage buff, bringing it to 110 damage, or in total, 660. This is an overall increase of 10%, not 60%. As 10% of the total (600) is 60, and it gained 60 damage. Get what I’m saying?

80% would be if it was increased to 0.18 from 0.10 ......

I love my ochokochi damper/tricksters, when the amp is stacked you can wipe out everything in 1 clip. Putting in damage and walking away from enemy with their death inevitable. Damage in the bank. Honestly it’s very OP so a nerf was needed but how much of a nerf?
The nerf should have been for the Dampers/Tamers alone, not the Tricksters.

Manni. How are people supposed to experiment is everything is expensive? Lot of silver, then memoriam for pilot skill not to mention everything for the bot. Weapons on dragon times six sooo weapons used on dragon that are nerfed even if it’s mk2 it’s a big hit to the player and things that are mk3 it’s enough to make people quit. How much money was spent on the stupid data pads just to get the dumb ass weapons? Stop defending pixonic for their crap balancing because that’s not what they do, every season there is an op bot and dead bots.- u know the cycle.trickster is getting beyond killed it’s getting over killed and it really only works well on Dagon wich has six slots now imagine it on normal bots with 2-3 light slots it’s gonna be slapping your opponent with a tissue that’s not even balled up.
I tried 3 Trickster in their current state on Loki once, it wasn't bad, just balanced. If they do the nerf they are planning, it won't work on Dagon anymore than on any other robot. These aren't like blast weapons that you need multiples to achieve the effect.

What? DoT is the most counter-healable type of damage. You were been hit with Rust too, maybe, and at that point DoT isn't the problem.

Manni isn't struggling here. Those are called balanced battles. The real sadness is how Pixonic likes to plan nerfs that completely ruin balance and make stuff worthless, like they are planning against these weapons.
