Until this year, I did all of my own yard work and loved every minute of it. At 73 I can't complain as I was all these years with the strength and stamina to do it. I really enjoy the clean ups way more than just regular mowing. I love when it’s cluttered and overgrown and you come in there and make it all look nice again 😅
Outstanding! Amazing! Far and away the best yard transformation I've ever seen. You guys worked so hard. And the result was just wonderful. So many things to like about this - the uncovering of the sidewalk, getting rid of the garden bed and trees...I could go on and on. Just really great!
I love watching these from the UK - well done. I always find it hard in the garden to decide when to remove an almost dead tree. I feel like they are old people and I should let them continue to the very last sometimes. If I were the owners I would throw out all that lead roofing on the ground or else sell it and if no buyers throw it out - sort of thing you keep for years and never use. There seemed ot be a good of garden at the other side or the front not yet tackled that I was itching to see.
It seems your fellow yard worker is not afraid of work, and you are lucky to have him on your team. The wo of you make a great work combo. The yard got a much needed makeover and it is a 100 % success. Kudos to the two of you.

This helps me remember even the biggest jobs just require starting in one place, get that done, move on to the next spot, don't be overwhelmed and with time and effort it can all be accomplished. That said, I have 5 acres to go mow, weedeat and clean out the poison ivy. I'm going to start in one spot and use you two for inspiration.
