- Well, it's just another day in the office. This one is a full garden cleanup for some tenants that were obviously struggling with the mess. They had a small mower, but there was no way it was going through this stuff. The elderly lady next door was extremely happy that the place was finally being tidied up, and she even asked me to mow her lawn after I was done. The lady on the other side, in another unit, also asked for a quote and told me "I like the way you work" 😊. Good help is hard to find now days!

Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

We have all had those times (sickness, disability, too much work, not enough hours in the day), where just the thought of starting a job like that is daunting. Kudos to you for making the kind of difference that they can continue the work themselves.

When it comes to the shrubs, knowing where to start and when to stop is something you do so well. When I first started to watch your channel I'd hold my breath and scream oh no! But at the end, it looked beautiful and so pro. I have learned alot from you when you do properties more in the shape as mine, needs work but not a men crew. Fun to watch both though.

An oldie but a goodie, George! I smiled when the lady asked you for some help in her yard as well! You just couldn't say no. 😍 That would be 3 houses then in the same cul de sac! What a great job you did on this one.. a bit of everything. I always shake my head at other lawn channels when they can't be bothered to roll up a hose that is strewn everywhere, they just toss it out of the way and not well. George you've gone and don't a beautiful job, and great work ethics is very hard to find and, of course, the neighbors want to hire you. I do doubt think you have a great feeling of accomplishment when you finish a job or you would not do what you do. So many elderly don't have the strength and energy to maintain their yards that can become overgrown very quickly as I see in my community. Being in my sixties I can relate, but I am still physically able to maintain my yard for which I tackle certain projects every other day or everyday when seasons change. I sometimes create more work for myself by creating new outdoor design projects. I know, right! I love my yard and my garden beds.

I saw this before but i watched it again
I am in the USA, so somethings look different than here in Houston, TX. On the back of the house there is a big tank that looks like a water heater. If it is a water heater, I mazed to see it outside. In the US, the closest it gets to outdoors is a garage if it is attached to the house.
It looks like it is spring with everything flowering. What is that purple shrub by itself in the backyard?
Yes, the tank is a hot water cylinder. The large purple flower is a lavender bush 🙂
