Number one thing for preventing bullying: keep an open line of communication between yourselves and your kids. Make it so they always feel like they can talk to you. Tell them about little problems you have so they realize that talking about these things is good and normal. Also, some kids don’t realize they are being bullied. I used to be bullied by my best friend and I didn’t even realize until my mom saw her and went to the school about it. Above all make sure your kids feel safe and loved at home. Good parents can really help in a bad situation. I don’t know what I’d do without my mom. My dad was never really around when I was a kid and now I’m realizing that he never knew how painful my bullying got because I never talked to him about it. Always be there for your kids. Don’t be a helicopter or snowplough parent, but make sure they feel comfortable talking to you about anything Sorry I kind of rambled. This poem just turned me into an emotional wreck for the millionth time. It never fails to make me cry.
i get indirectly bullied at school and because of it i always stay in shadows isn't it ironic when you look for friends and stuff you lose yourself.. yet you loose everyone looking for yourself? a lot of the time it happens but i want everyone to know there is at the least one person who will care about what happens if its an person on the internet or someone you can see in real life there is someone there who will listen and try their best to help and im always willing to listen ...ok?

When I was in 5th grade is when I started to get bully, by 6th I got into a lot of fight still bullied, my main bully |Blank| I finally stood up to her and when she was on the floor I looked at her. ‘Are we done?’
I genuinely hope you guys are able to listen to more of his spoken words poems. An artist that inspires and certainly deserves attention even if this medium is not your type of thing. He, at the very least, deserves respect for his efforts. So even if you don't react to anymore of them you should try to listen to more of them whenever you get the chance. Cheers. I was bullied from kindergarten to high school and despite being in and out of the office every day to every other day, nobody did anything until I was physically assaulted by another student. But the words they said lasted longer than the assault’s affect.
I like that this channel is putting the word of this poem out there, but I feel that they were very inconsiderate and just played the video with almost no commentary. how do they even call this a reaction.
I’m honestly glad they didn’t talk while watching it, or they would’ve missed something or they wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the beauty of it as much
