I have a question: Does this device go into "sleep mode" when the vehicle is detected as stationary? And if so, how long before it does so? I don't really need to be sent the location of a stationary vehicle every 30 seconds for the 15 hours per day that the vehicle spends parked.

Thanks for the feedback. For full month, with constant usage and frequent location checking, it consumed 6mb data approximately. If u r using only sms then 0 data
If I want to only use SMS commands and not 3G network (I have a 2$/month plan for unlimited SMS and 1h calls) I don't want to be charged for 3G consumption. Do I need to configure something? Thanks a lot

It should be constantly connected to battery and it will not drain the battery. If the vehicle stands idle for long time, to make sure to start the vehicle atleast once a week for 10mins. Thats enough to keep it going.

However, as per their mail, both the 2g versions and 4g versions are basically having the same features except the different antennas. Tracking server is free for lifetime. But you need to buy and maintain a sim with data pack +sms. I dont think so. I didnt get any custom notice. But i cant confirm. Depends from place to place and time to time and custom officer to officer. Its a good gps tracker, using it till date without any problems.

U need to load credit in sim. Without data or sms it wont work. You need to insert sim for gps to work. U can either use message or data or both.. Options can be selected via sms or app
Hi, please make sure that you have a working internet plan on your sim card. Secondly, check whether the GPS is connected properly to bike's battery terminals. Thirdly, try keeping the bike in an open space for sometime, where there is no disturbance to receive or send GPS signals to/from the satellites. Let us know if that works :)

Its a very old video and the model that iam showing in the video is also old as of now. The new models supports 4g. The one i showed in the video supported 3g 4g sim but connects to 2g network only

Hello, I have 5 devices and all 5 no longer work! Each device has a SIM card with money. I have the impression that I must pay to renew a Sinotracker subscription. I am really disappointed. If I knew it was like that I was never going to buy the latest devices. In addition, I read on the internet that to have an account on the Sinotracker site with 2-3 devices you cannot track them at the same time. You must request authorization from Sinotracker and it must be at least 10 devices. It's a shame for all my investment! If you have a solution I would be happy to solve this problem. Hi bought 3G version of Sino Track st-901 with battery and installed airtel 4G sim in it. After placing the sim into it ...the lights got blinked some time after that I'm unable to see any lights blinking in the device (Note: device not connected to any external source or to any bike battery) In the android app when I click on device the ID is showing Not Active.. Charge the battery by connecting it to the bike battery or any external source. No leds glowing that means battery has died. Charge it fully and then see. Thanks

hello everyone, after setting the device correctly, I was able to monitor it from the app and it works fine but as soon as I disconnect it from the vehicle battery the battery inside the device works for an hour after it turns off. since I feed it with the vehicle battery, the device turns on, responds to messages but I can no longer monitor it via the app anymore. he tells me the device is offline. has anyone had the same problem? I hope to find the solution
Already shown in the video. Its a direct fit to battery terminals, nothing complex. Cant show the real fittings as its security threat for my vehicle. Hope u understand 😊

Get location by phone call - working with any number. If i wrote SMS with command RCONF i received full configuration with password, ever if i using number which is not defined as control number. They have launched the same gps with 4G compatibility. Please search for it in aliexpress or google.

after setting the device correctly, I was able to monitor it from the app and it works fine but as soon as I disconnect it from the vehicle battery the battery inside the device works for an hour after it turns off. since I feed it with the vehicle battery, the device turns on, responds to messages but I can no longer monitor it via the app anymore. he tells me the device is offline.
has anyone had the same problem? I hope to find the solution

Already shown in the video. Its a direct fit to battery terminals, nothing complex. Cant show the real fittings as its security threat for my vehicle. Hope u understand 😊

If i wrote SMS with command RCONF i received full configuration with password, ever if i using number which is not defined as control number. This is big security issue. After that I could change configuration and get control on not mine GPS tracker. Is anybody know how to switch off get location by phone function? Is any firmware update?
