Sir!I got 51 in Physics,80 in Chemistry, 58 in Maths and 90 in English.

No...DGCA exams is for license issue only ( all 6 papers )....

As of now ..No scholarship is available bro.....contact your state or central govt website for their scholarship scheme for CPL if they have.....even if you get it...government won’t pay your full fee...its like a stipend of 3-4 thousand per month...so this very small amount compare to 35-45 lakh total CPL fee .....as rest you have to pay from your pocket...plus again for type rating and airline training ...no airline will bear the cost, no scholarship or any kind of assistance is available for that...i hope u understood..thanks

Bro IGRUA written standards are low...if you solve 10 yrs paper and study only the basic concepts...not in deep...then that will be more than sufficient to crack any pilot entrance exam..just my opinion...it could be different for other person...

Hey,so here's the thing ,I failed physics in 12th although I passed overall and had decent marks in maths,chemistry and english.I still badly want to fly for an airline so I decided that I would write the on-demand examination in nios and clear physics so that I am eligible to apply for IGRUA .Is it possible this way and am I now eligible to apply for all flying schools in India ?please reply as soon as possible as this is of utmost urgency.
Yes you are eligible to apply in any flying school or cadet programs...they do accept NIOS marks...but before applying do read their eligibility criteria...i.e for subjectwise marks or percentage
Their eligibility criteria is that you need to pass physics which I will after writing that exam and then to obtain 55% in physics and maths aggregate .So on-demand exam is accepted ,right ?

Bhaiya, We have to make CV for interview of IGRUA or just 10th & 12th Marksheet, OBC certificate, Transfer certificate, Admit card is enough?
And please tell me what other than the above mentioned documents we have to take for IGRUA'S interview?
CV is not required for interview...they just check your 12th marksheet, higher qualification, and other documents as applicable like your caste certificate and if everything is ok...then they will send you for WOMBAT or Interview ( koi bhi pehle ho sakta hai )...and usually they crosscheck subjectwise marks, DOB, your name, father’s name and other basic things only....with...what you have entered online...at the time of application...ok..no need to worry much about it...koi airline ka interview nahi hai...its just a flying school..ok bro..baki jo bhi instruction aapko diya gaya hai...vo follow karo...admit card main ya email main...I don’t know abhi online sab hai toh aapko sab mail main bheja hoga unhone...so follow that...ok...Thanks...

Placement at IGRUA happens very very rare...not on regular basis ( i.e not every year...sometime in a gap of 3-5 yr also )...so totally depends upon market demands and airlines.....but you must know this thing very clear that...there are no job guarantee or anything like campus placement after the course...nothing like that...only you are responsible for job hunt...

See..after CPL..if you didn’t get placement from flying school ( which is nowhere nowadays)..then there are two options available..You can wait for any airline vacancy to come up which nobody knows how long you have to wait it could vary from couple of months to years OR go for TR at your own risk ( as there is absolutely no job guarantee after independent TR only you are responsible for job search ) and apply in any airline afterwards...Both ways you have to crack the airline selection process which consist of 3-4 phases...
Now, if you are selected on basis of just CPL ....you have to compulsory pay the respective airline for TR + Airline Training...then company will give you letter of intention and send you for TR..then if you successfully complete it after passing all exam and checks as per their desired standards..then only they will take you in as a junior first officer or trainee pilot...then you do Airline Training and released as FO...
Next , If you join on basis of CPL + TR then also company will take exam and sim checks as per their policy and standards...and ask you to pay for Airline Training which could be approx between 10-25 lakhs depending upon the aircraft...and after completing your airline specific training you will be released as First officer...I have already uploaded a video about type rating...you can watch if you want for more details...thanks
Note : If you failed to clear TR sim evaluation check then chances of getting hired will be narrowed or sometimes its zero..

I personally know 2-3 students who failed this WOMBAT test ( by failing i mean they got less than 70% ) and got selected in interview...
so I don’t know ... is 70% cut off ka really main kya point hai...generally the student counsellor will tell you this test as once in a lifetime experience ...but in reality its not...because ye Indian Air Force nahi hai...sirf school main admission ke liye hai...
But haan multiple times attempt karte hain itna mujhe pata hai...matlab next session/attempt main aap kar sakte ho...in case aapka selection nahi hota hai us case main...ok bro...

You don’t require any specific book...Any NDA preparation material or any engineering entrance exam objective book is more than sufficient.....as exam standards are low to moderate...very basic questions are asked....

Bro IGRUA notification timing has nothing to do with your 12th board result...usually they advertise in april or may every year may be sometimes before or little late...whenever they want to...ok..and you can’t apply without 12th result...as per my knowledge...at least you must know your subjectwise marks...if you haven’t got original marksheet...because they cross check each and everything before WOMBAT & INTERVIEW PHASE....on the same day itself..ok...Thanks

Is it worth paying 45lakhs for cpl from IGRUA ? As there are some other good flight schools like "chimes "in india were we get the same cpl for a lesser cost. I beleive that at the end of the day all that matters is the fact that u have a cpl....and ur school should be irrelevant to the recruiters.

Yes...at last you CPL matters not school...as it doesn’t have your school name attached with it...now its worth to do or not totally depends upon your budget and personal choice...as IGRUA fee is really very high...i.e just for CPL...after that again you have to wait for job like any other CPL holder in that market...crack the airline selection process which generally consist of (3-4 phases )...and if you got selected then again you pay between 25-45 lakh for rest of the training ( TR + Airline Training) if you join any airline...or even if you do self sponsored TR then also you have to spend somewhere between 20-30 lakhs depending upon the aircraft you want to get rated and institute where you are doing...and afterwards again need to wait for TRated vacany...clear the airline selection process then again pay for Airline Training...before you actually join the airline...So flying school matters for training quality only...as no school guarantees placement or even opportunity after your course...only you are responsible for everything after that...plus if you are not directly placed from flying school then it won’t matter from where you did your training India or Abroad ...in airline perspective all CPL holders are exactly the same...

Bro IGRUA and Cadet programs both have different set of eligibility criteria..
IGRUA requires min 55% in 12th physics and maths combined ( for general ) ...as per their latest advertisement.
Cadet program requires min 51% marks individually in 12th physics , maths and english..or if you don’t have these marks than as you are an Engineer this 51% criteria (only in physics and maths individually) can be overlooked if you have passed engineering with overall min 51%....

Hahaha....they recruit bro..as12th is the minimum criteria to become pilot...but degree has its own value, valid for lifetime and you can use in multiple fields like UPSC, GATE, SSC, BANKS , ISRO..and many more the list goes on...as per your branch.....not like CPL which is valid for 5 yrs and again you have to renew with hefty fee....and most important no guarantee of placement or anything even after investing 50-70 lakhs on training...i have already made a video you can watch if you want

You can’t compare IIT standards....as IGRUA written standards are really low to moderate ...even lower than any state engineering entrance exam...questions are very straightforward.....and maximum upto 60-70% theoretical based...and few numericals are also very easy..just put the formula get the answer like....so don’t worry..you can easily clear it...
So there will be online written exam.

Only few schools like IGRUA, Chimes & NFTI as per my knowledge...have some sort of selection phase for admission..in which only IGRUA is popular...as its the only academy in India...which is owned by central government...and their selection process is a bit competitive..because they have written, WOMBAT , interview and all.....but overall its not that hard...and you don’t need any special preparation...that was my point...ok bro..baki india main 25-30 flying schools hain....as of today..aap koi bhi choose kar sakte ho...as per your preference ..ok...Thanks

Bro worth hai ya nahi ye toh main nahi bol sakta....kyuki success aapki capability and performance pe depend karta hai...but normal path jaise IGRUA ya NFTI se aap CPL karte hain toh struggle and time bohot jada hai..kitna ye koi nai bata sakta..kyuki already market majn approx 5-7000 CPL holders jobless hain( estimate by a newspaper last year )...agar cadet programs main aapko mauka mil ra hai with job assurance then better hai vo join karna...but usmain bhi koi airline 100% job guarantee nahi deti..and fee is again close to 1 crore...so you need to analyse your situation and take decision accordingly.....each path have their own set of pros and cons...so totally depends upon your financial capability and how you perform...

How much it'll cost ? For training ?
IGRUA current charge is 38 lakh which will be revised to 42 lakh soon...and overall including extra costs and considering maximum duration i.e 2 -2.5 yrs it will cost you approx 42-45 lakhs...this is just for CPL ...

There is absolutely “NO” job guarantee in CPL course..anywhere you do..India or Abroad....total fee of IGRUA will cost you approx 45 lakhs or little more ( including your commitment fee and everything , this is the cost of CPL only ) and it takes 6 months or 1 yr more than the training duration mentioned in their advertisement ( i.e 24 months )...and after course completion you have wait ( no body know how long it could be few months to couple of years also ) to apply into an airline and crack their selection process ( 3-4 phases ) to get job....just like any other job hunt....and most important ..if you are selected...you need to pay also...for rest of the trainings...approx between 25-45 lakhs again ( i.e after CPL ) for Type Rating & Airline Training ( IGRUA or any flying school won’t tell you all these things at the time of admission )....OR if you opt for self sponsored Type Rating ( after CPL ) then also you have to wait and apply into an airline just like any other job...and if selected need to pay for Airline Training also ( approx between 7-20 )...and i hope you know that...here huge investment doesn’t means job guarantee ( even after self sponsored TR )....so all in all you requires at least 60-70 lakhs....till you join any airline....and start your career as an Airline Pilot...Thanks and all the best

You need to learn the basics only...as questions are pretty straightforward, like one word questions...few antonyms and synonyms could be hard.....now about strategy it completely depends upon your learning ability....but i am assuring you the level of exam is not that difficult...low actually ..if you are a graduate....it can’t compared with IIT JEE or any engineering entrance exam...you don’t need 6 months bro...20-25 days is more than enough...

IGRUA exam has no limitations.. whether its Written / PAT / Interview....generally notification comes in april - may every year... written and all exam in may - june ..generally batch starts from september onwards...also depends upon IGRUA..

I don’t know much about other schools...but there is nothing like no.1 or its like an IIT in aviation that’s totally crap and intentionally created hype...i think it totally depends upon your performance during training and how well you did in your exams...but still IGRUA is famous because its the oldest and only academy owned by central government...known for quality training , largest fleet plus campus placement ..this campus thing is only in IGRUA ...many passout students are placed in pvt and govt airline...this can’t be denied...but here important point to be noted....campus is not regular after 2008( this is the time where placement is close to 100%)..now sometime it happens in 2-3 years, sometimes in a gap of 5 years...so no gurantee these days anywhere that you will be placed ...plus pass out students got job due to their own efforts & hard work ..it has nothing to do with IGRUA...untill he or she get placed directly from there..ok...so a CPL holder from any other DGCA approved flying school is 100% equivalent to an IGRUA CPL holder , no difference..also airlines doesn’t care about your flying school...neither its mentioned in your license ...all they want is a person with good knowledge and skill....so bottom line is your performance matters not school...but still IGRUA is preferred for CPL...as its the only best option available in India in terms of infrastructure and training quality...NFTI is also good.(*but for CPL Only ..after that job hunt / type rating and rest is your responsibility )

There is no way to by pass the selection process bro.....you have to clear..Written Exam...its quite easy by the way...then you have to clear Pilot Aptitude Test / WOMBAT + Personal Interview.....so the only way is to improve yourself by studying...no other way....as decent knowledge( only basics not in very deep ) in physics and maths is required for pilot training....so you can do it..don’t worry..their selection process is not that hard...All the best

after totally clearing all the rounds of cadet programme hume training k tym pr bhi fees deni hogi?? in some sites they say ki iss cadet programme k bad training fees deni hoti hai which min upto 40 lakhs and plus fees to ensure that ki hume job milengi us airlines m (which is optional).
See bro...when you clear any cadet program selection process...airline will give you a specific time frame to join the program...like few days or months....in that period you have to submit some sort of commitment fee or first installment...depending upon your airline policy...this fee is required to secure your seat and at the time of joining the program ( i mean before commencing your actual training )...you will officially sign an agreement with your airline...which is called as letter of intent...which is just an intention to hire you ...post completion of course...whenever they have vacancy...toh aap ek tarah se unki priority list main rahogey...and jab bhi vacancy aaegi...airline aapko joining de degi...sooner or later...ok bro...
Now about course fee...you have to pay complete money before course completion...but not in one go..you will pay in multiple installments and as of today...cadet program average cost is 1 crore ( plus minus few lakhs )... if i say specifically as per options / paths available ( i.e domestic or international and as per airline like indigo , spicejet and air asia )...then cost would be somewhere between 82.5 lakhs to 1.20 crore...for your complete training....and ye matter nahi karta bro...ki aapki job lagi ya nahi...aapko complete money pay karna hai...even before your course completion...

then type rating main zada time nahi lagta kyunki ye short duration ka rehta hai ..on average 2- 2.5 months main finish hojata hai...ok...

No...any type of degree is not required for commercial pilot training..only 12th pass with physics and maths is enough...and duration is not guaranteed by IGRUA..l personally know few students who are there from past 3-4 years still they have not completed their CPL...so whatever duration they have mention on advertisement...is not fixed and usually it takes 2.5 -3 years...and overall cost is approx 50 lakhs...as of today....Thanks
