@@charlychalton7743 He was the head of the crown prosecution service and failed to bring prosecutions against Saville. Nearly all files relating to this were destroyed in 2010. People have covered for Starmer as well as Saville. Do your own research, there's plenty out there.

May I ask a question.
We keep being told how Russia must beg for equipment. We are also told they are a poor military who can't even roll over Ukraine.
But then we are told they will be attacking us. How does that make sense, if they are that poor militarily and cant even supply themselves, how could they EVER consider fighting us?

Depends how you define "us". If "us" = UK, then you are likely to be right, but if "us" is "Europe", then Putin most certainly has a longish list of European countries he'll try to attack if he succeeds in Ukraine.
I mean this whole conflict is basically a proxy war between NATO and Russia. NATO members don't need to fight with Russia directly, just provide weapons, money, vehicles, equipment, people to go there and provide training to people there or at home.

This war will end when Russia decides to stop attacking, or when it loses this war. The weapons manufacturers are just providing what the market needs, similar to how doctors provide what the market needs (or are you suggesting, that if we were to get rid of doctors, all the illnesses would disappear?).

The problem is that Russia wants to reconquer the lands that it "lost" in 1991, and they will use any excuse (incl. the ones you were quoting) in its attempts to achieve this. And "neutrality" really means "unable to defend itself".

The UK has nuclear attack submarines, two aircraft carriers and special forces which are second to none. Putin and what is left of the Russian military would have a very bad day if we decided to turn up.

Given that Washington has a long history of giving primacy to US interests at the expense of others, then don't expect our weak government (currently led by two-tier Starmer, who doesn't even know how to throw a fist at a punchbag), to take any independent action. Russia's military budget is geared primarily for defence, despite holding the worlds largest number of nuclear missiles. Britain could be turned to toast, but Washington will do nothing if its best interests lie in keeping its distance.

Russia's incursion is a "preemptive strike" rather than defense, but you're not too far off.
Cluster munitions released from Storm Shadow missles and depleted uranium fired from Challenger II tanks are also illegal but that did not stop the UK from supplying the Nazi regime in Kiev with them to use on civilians. A Nazi regime that has cancelled elections, banned the Russian Orthodox Church, banned the Russian language, murdered thousands of political opponents, imprisoned thousands more AND continues to honor the role their grandfather's played in the 14th Waffen SS division in WW2.

There is not a single thing that you've said, is factually correct. For example, cluster munitions are not illegal, only that a number of countries have signed an agreement not to use them. But countries that have not signed this agreement (e.g. US, Russia, Ukraine, etc.) have a perfectly legal right to use them against legitimate military targets.

When I was in the Army we were told there were exceptions to what is classed as a chemical weapon, with regard to strict illegality of use, not section 3, but strictly illegal.
Excluded are Smoke, Flame, Chemical herbicides and Riot control agents. Unfortunately, these don't come under chemical weapons classified as strictly illegal to use, and therefore not illegal 😢 UNFORTUNATELY

The Ukraine air defences provided by USA and UK have not been successful.
Russia produces something like 4,000 Cruise-, Ballistic-, Hypersonic-, etc. Missiles each year. The US produces 240 Patriot air defense missiles per year for all the Patriot systems in use around the globe. Ukraine has no chance since they have depleted their Soviet-era S300 etc.
