Today I'm going to show you step by step how to turn those straight leg Adidas Track Pants into tapered track pants or leggings. This is a simple sewing tutorial on how to take in your track pants without ruining the stripes on the side and it's easy to sew along to.

I’m addicted to yo channel. I use to sew cloths after taking a little class in middle school, where we made pillows. I did a pillow at home, and couldn’t stop I started customizing cloths wearing them and people liked them. I stopped cause I wasn’t confident in wearing “non name brand” clothing, but you! probably done got me back. Whole time I was the damn brand but lol. I wanna machine, and I wanna learn again. Especially this kinda stuff.
Oh my gosh! We have the same story for real. I stopped sewing for a long time because people laughed at my "home made" clothes. Now everyone wants "custom". Funny how things change.

Them green pants are niiiiiice but anyways my aunt gave away some wide leg adidas pants 😔 and I want them cuffed. I cant complain they're free so I'm going to make it work

Yes, you can fold it under and use hem tape to iron in a hem.

Oh boy! That makes it more complicated. You would have to take out the zipper and move it up. Or an easier way would be to turn the excess of each side of the zipper up and stitch it back.

Put tape on stripes when dying

Did you use a special needle for your machine?
No, a 90/14 needle should work well for this.
