Insane you've never heard this. Its been on the radio, a ton of movies, not to mention the meme universe. Bon Jovi is huge around the world. You've probably heard some of their music and just don't know it.
Insane that you think people grew up with the same exact experiences you did. You do realize most households in black communities don't listen to rock music that much, right? Just like how you probably grew up with Rock and Country, black folk grew up with R&B, Hip-Hop and funk.

Huge crush!🥰🥰 Awesome 80’s group and the man is still handsome and is still making music! 🎶🎵 He also has a beautiful heart, he and his wife do amazing work for charity, including a kitchen where people can work for their meals and many times he even works there himself! ❤❤

I remember when this video premiered on MTV - it was highly anticipated because their first video for "You give love a bad name" was a huge hit. This played on MTV in a constant loop because people requested it so often. In the beginning Bon Jovi was criticized as being just another "hair band" of the 80's, but they've proved their longevity by creating hit song after hit song for decades to follow. Not only did they pump out hard rockin' tunes, but many well loved "power ballads" with Jon's iconic voice on such classics as Never say good-bye, I'll be there for you, Bed of roses, Always, & Thank you for loving me.
My top favorite Bon Jovi song (as a band) is Wanted Dead or Alive. My 2nd favorite is Blaze of Glory - another great song, but that was done by Jon as a solo endeavor & featured on the soundtrack for the film "Young Guns - part 2"
Jon was so fit. I like the song. It’s catchy and Jon is very easy on the eye.
This is one the best live performance songs I have ever seen. My wife loves these guys so we go when they tour. The crowd singing the chorus is something to behold.

That "ooh wa ooh ooh" sound is a Talk Box device attached to Richie's guitar. Motley Crue guitarist used one on Kickstart My Heart.
I believe Peter Frampton used it first. The flying - Jon was a Superman fan and even has a tattoo on one shoulder. I think he said this in an interview? It's been several years so I forgot. LOL
This record came out in 86 or 87 I think. I remember I went to see them in 89 with their New Jersey tour. The concert started, Jon BonJovi started singing but he was not on stage,. We were looking around and someone pointed up and he was running on the catwalk in the rafters then was lowered on a platform. Pretty cool opening.
Oh yeah, Bon Jovi has some more hits. Bed of Roses, Wanted Dead or Alive, I'll Be There for You, Bad Medicine, Always, You Give Love a Bad name, Runaway. That's just the one's I can think of off the top of my head. Living on a Prayer came out in the late 80's...87 or 88, I think. Still a good jam and a great reaction.
Blaze of Glory is, by far, my favorite Bon Jovi song. But he does have a lot of good stuff.

I actually seen these guys back way way back n the day. First time headlining with Cinderella warm up band. You give love a bad name is a great song & video. Slippery was the concert tour I was at. Wanted dead or alive, Jon wrote for the movie Young Guns & played a small role which also started his acting. Still does concerts as well.
The video with the album came out in 1986, and I saw them live in Tokyo Dome on New Year's Eve in 88, and they really put on a show.

I'll Be There For You is one of the best ones from the 80s. Always is beautiful but the video doesn't suit it at all.
Some of my favorite ones that don't have music videos include Complicated, Luv Can, Bullet, Any Other Day, and This Is Love This Is Life, and We Don't Run to name a few. 😂

I’ve seen Bon Jovi in concert 6 times. Now that Richie Sambora the main guitarist is no longer with them I just can’t see them live anymore. Jon still got his chops. Easily Slippery When Wet is an incredible album. They had so many hits off their albums as well too many to choose from. I like Living in Sin Blaze of Glory It’s My Life……
