We Ghanaians have really made the right choice barely four years ago.
Nana Addo's term need to be extended. He has really achieved alot especially benefiting millions of Ghanaian children with free Senior High.

I hope tvc news desk, especially the panelist in this video do come back to watch this from time to time. So many cannot be done has being done. What better stands out for me personally, is the assertion they made in this video about reduction of tariffs-it too has being done so beautifully. Even now, during this pandemic, i just received a rebate on my electricity bill. The government of Nigeria should take a cue from this. Sometimes problems are solved by the application of common sense

With all due respect Ghana doesn't take its cue from Nigeria. Ghana has had free and fair elections for almost 3 decades during the times when Nigeria was still under military rule. Ghana is setting its own level not following.

Kobi Fabin ,you are absolutely right. Since independence in 1957, Ghana has always been the vanguard for West African countries when it comes to politics.

please, let them tickle themselves and feel good thinking they lead us. But the election was not a change for the sake of change. Ghana doesn't do things for the sake of it. There is a reason, and be the journalists and find out the real reason. The people want the wrong thing? I can see this correspondent didn't do his homework.

TVS is of the Best stations in Africa. What an analysis from your election correspondent in Ghana. Ghana and Nigeria are one blood. let's forget the past and look into the future. what brings us together is stronger than what put us apart. I am a 3rd generation Ghanaian and my ancestors are from Katsina State. I can say for a fact that close to 18% of Ghanaians have Nigerian blood. That's why our similarities and happenings are too pronounced. I encourage my Nigeria brothers to try Ghana if things are hard up in Nigeria. Come here study and make life here. Ghana dey bee waa

No you guys might have forgotten that infrastructure is not always the way to go, value for money, the gab between the poor and rich, the hope of the younger generation, and finally the educational system for the next future challenges
This means that Ghanaians are discerning and are on the governments toes to do more than just little we see over the years.

That analysis that Akufo Addo took cues from a political candidate in Nigeria is so ignorant. Why are Nigerians so desperate to take credit for things that happens in Ghana that has nothing to do with them. Is it self esteem issues? or you secretly wish to be Ghanaians; I don't get it. Too much wahala ...Pls stop!

Nana Addo will be Shown the exit if he also repeats the same mistakes Mahama did. Ghanaians are very discerning when it comes to electoral choices. Long live Ama Ghana!

That election was on unemployment of teeming graduates. Borrowing at the 11 hr to built infrastructure was a no no for majority. Ridge hospital, circle interchange, kejetia market all took place in the dying ember of his tenure.

ahaha... "Sometimes the people want the wrong things but since that is what they want, you have to give it to them"...
Perhaps you do not know what a good government is. We Ghanaians have had a taste of many governments and we decided that President Mahama did not deserve a second term. Ghanaians are not ignorants, we are a very cautious people being led by a very reckless man. We just could not take it anymore. Ghana was growing at a very fast pace so all of these infrastructures would have been constructed in a much better economic condition if we had a competent president.
There was no reason for Ghana to go to the IMF. There is no reason for our prolonged electricity problems if our government was up to the job.
Again, those infrastructures would have been constructed in a better economic condition. We want a government that works for the people. A government with a good knowledge of economic systems and how to build economies, not one which focuses on creating opportunities for their friends and family.
Most importantly, those infrastructures are not being built by IMF loans. President Mahama has borrowed way too much in our name. His government did not generate any economic growth. President Mahama and his government worked hard on declining our economic growth from 9.2% in 2012 to 3.4% in 2016. Who wants to keep that?
Our food production is declining with imports from Cote d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso filling the gap. Our Agric exports have taken a big hit too. In short, we saw our government fail and worse, arrogant. We made the right choice.

NPP hates a growing Ghana? Maybe you should study economics, growing an economy is not all about building over-priced infrastructures. Also, I don't get where your tribal bigotry is coming from. It looks to me that the NDC instead feed on tribalism. Please understand that Ghanaians voted again mediocre.

What is the point of building all these infrastructure (by Brazilians) when Ghanaian do not have jobs, they are living in difficult conditions, the inflation is up to the sky, the cedis is falling, the economy is collapsing since 2012, the industries are shutting down because of Dumsor, the importation has grown to 90%, the corruption is rocking the whole country? Look it is simple, the Ghanaian were not seeing the years ahead clear with their daily basic life that is why the number of voters for NDC went down in 2016, and they lost! Look people are not blind, at the end of the day, even if you give them bags of rice and money the day of election, they will not vote for you.GOD BLESS GHANA!

@TVC, Your reporter got so many things wrong. Infrastructure development is not unprecedented. NPP built more roads than what Mahama has done. I Will rate your reporter 40%. In Ghana we just don't campaign on promises and let our leaders go free without fulfilling them. We kick you out if you don't. that is what we have done to Mahama. All the infrastructure taking your head off is normal for us. NPP will also do more. The x-factor we look out for is policies that directly or indirectly makes the life of the ordinary Ghanaian better. Mahama failed in that areas. High cost of living, inflated cost of projects which he failed to account the cost to Ghanaians. Corruption and arrogance were the hallmark of his followers.Your reporter did not do a better research. How can he say when you are making campaign in West Africa you just have to lie to the people.

I am not a fan of any party here, NPP or NDC, I don't really care. I am also again tribalism! But gentlemen, it is very clear that the Ghana's economy has collapsed for the past few years, from GDP and public opinion perspective. Living and doing business in Ghana was becoming very hard even for a Ghanaian. The inflation rate is rocking to the sky........etc. Look, J.M did good things for Ghana, that we will remember (And I really like J.M, very charismatic), but I think he did not have a good team to help him grow this economy, and on top of that corruption! At the end of the day the middle and poor classes in Ghana are suffering, things were becoming hard. A lot of investors left the country to go to Ivory Coast because of the hardship of doing business in Ghana( the country that was No. 1 in growth in that Sub-region, with a strong and stable cedis currency). I think we need to put all these parties divisions and tribalism aside, let's help the new government of Nana Akufo Ado, who is coming with fresh ideas, and good team to energize the dying economy in Ghana. Believe me, when Ghana starts producing again, and stop depending on importation ( like the way I see now, we will be rising again). God Bless Ghana!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your analysis is largely incorrect. Ghanaians did not vote for change for the sake of change only. The hunger and poverty would have been entirely manageable without the massive corruption, lawlessness, incompetence, and arrogance of government over the last 4 years. Ghanaians are simply waking up to the fact that the power to choose is now in their hands. If you do not perform, you are out. Finish.

We love the infrastructure and appreciate the development, but if you bring us infrastructure that should cost us $50 million at a cost of $750 million, should we be happy and clap for you? And that was the story with every single project. Ghanaians simply showed they were awake, observant and alive to their responsibilities.
