Exactly, this awkward way of discussing critical issues in Africa with so called western experts and think tanks is very annoying. It's almost like discussing the crises in Syria with an expert from Ghana without an insider's perspective

Come on Al jazeera. I thought this stuff is done by BBC etc. 24 minutes discussion about Ghana and not a single Ghanaaian involved in your debate? Not one of the countless Ghanaians going back and forth on the screen added to your scoop on Ghana. Good luck.

He is, but he does not live there, and never has. Sorry. They couold ask any of the thousands of people who were walking back and forth acrfoss the screen in their report. But they decided not to. Good reporting.

Sorry, to the panel. The Africans definitely knows their backyard but no matter how much you specialize in the continent, you will not have the information like an ethnic or local or better said indigenous African. Invite an African to tell an African story. Europe don't call on Africans to tell EU issues!

You don't consider Kwame Nkrumah's eldest son, Gamal, a Ghanaian?

Al Jazeera and other foreign medias are only interested from their own perspective. I don't understand how you can analyse a country without indepth advice from those local to the scene.

African dances? What country is that? This debate was about a country called Ghana. Are you so hopelessly misinformed, or are you benignly racist and stereotyping?
