A great actor and great American . So many Hollywood Artists enlisted in the war effort during WW2. They were a part of the greatest generation .

Absolutely Loved Hal in Barney Miller! It was one of my favourite shows. Did not realize the wide expanse of his talent ! Will have to check out some of his singing!
We saw him along with Barbara Eden in "Love Letters" at Poway, Performing Arts Theater in Poway Ca, in 2013. It was a great show and showing their talent.
Hal looks great. Whoever said you'll gasp when you see him is full of shit. Barney Miller I watch daily because the show is brilliant. One of my fav. Everyday about 3p l will watch Barney and the 12th precinct 😊
