Not only did she get prettier, she turned out to be a great friend to Audrina and I loved how sweet she was to take Stephanie under her wing as well. I think she was a great influence on Stephanie at that point and was perhaps the only person on the entire show that didn't seem to be condescending in some way, when it came to Stephanie.

I hated that they had to move into that house (a.k.a. security compound) Lauren had definitely become the "it" girl of Hollywood and the popularity of this show was getting intense. It was becoming impossible to keep any sort of reality to the show because every time they walked out on the street they were being harassed by paparazzi, fans, or HATERS

Damn, I don't think Audrina and Lo ever really understood one another. Like the whole thing with Audrina in the guest house, and Lo and Lauren living out in the front, was just too intense for Audrina to take. This is why I feel some empathy toward the new cast of the Hills, like Audrina, who says she has had it rough with her ex boyfriend. You then see her on TV, running the travel show, and assume she is at her best. Yet you watch the New Beginnings, and realize she is not that happy. Wow. Shocker, for sure. Then, well that's it. Guess I better tune on in.
