One thing I'd say is, it'll be a bit disappointing if they've gone this far with weather/damage to crops and possible buildings etc. but then not do any visual building damage, feels a bit lazy. But we'll see!
They need to make a system that effects the stand and population of crops, if you do nothing the crops should be various heights with even some bare patches in the field. Compared if you do everything and get the maximum yield the crops will look as they do now
This looks awesome, such a huge change from previous games! Can't wait to see this in-game and have to adapt to what the weather brings the farm! I've been wanting to see the game have more variety year-to-year so it isn't always as repetitive wash-rinse-repeat. This will be cool to have!
One concern I have is that some of the videos of these tornadoes appear to have them coming out of a clear sky. If that’s true when the game is released, it’s going to be quite the immersion breaker.
Still haven't fixed contracts. Rolling, lime, and mulching are needed to get the maximum out of a crop, yet Giant hasn't added base game contracts for them. Also, financials really need to be redone. There are a lot of things going into the misc category that either should be in others or is used so much that it should have its own.
@@FarmerCop Oh, I'm sure they do add realism and I'm not against it. I can just see it as being something I would play with for a bit, then turn it off because it could get a little more frustrating than the benefit of that kind of realism.
I think the tornados are kind of stupid on 2x maps, I would have rather them add droughts that way they could’ve added irrigation systems. Fires would have been good too caused by lightning storms. But 4x maps for cross play would have been my top pick.
I’m impressed that Giants has put this negative effect in the next release. Real farmers get affected (rarely) by hail and tornadoes, but I don’t think it goes far enough. Real farmers also have to deal with (rarely) drought, floods and insect swarms. Giants should think about adding these negative effects as well (with the ability to turn them off of course).
You apparently don't live in Arkansas as I do. Hail crop damage is such a probability that farmers can get "Hail Crop Insurance" as I have hail damage insurance on my house. Crops, especially corn, will be broken by wind events including tornadoes. Happens regularly here in North East Arkansas. Tornado warnings happen EVERY spring and fall. I do agree with the flood and drought. That would be nice. Enjoy the game, my friend! 😃
@@farmert7959 You’re right. I live in NH. The fact that hail damage happens more often in some areas just makes it all the more intriguing. The question I have now is will the damaging events come with a slider that can be turned up or down, affecting the frequency of these damaging events? I think perhaps they should, because playing on a map based in NH, hail and tornadoes are very rare, but in Arkansas they are much more frequent.
@@mikesiver1950I agree! It is my understanding the effects can be turned off or on like seasonal effects do now. I like your idea of being able to "adjust" the effects based on the area. That would be great! 👍😃
The twister is looking on brand for FS25, all flashy and nice looking but with the depth of a puddle. Ok, so a twister comes, how the player protects the crop from it? They simply don't, and roll the dice on if it will destroy some of their crops or miss their land entirely. The most it will require from the player is to store the bales inside a shed, and pay a maintenance fee for the damaged buildings. There's no meat in this game, it's only a dry bone. A good looking bone, but a bone nonetheless.
I totally agree. I've yet to see anything that I think is a must have for myself. Most of this is "knick knack" addons that will loose their luster after everyone sees it once or twice. Really hoping they have some amazing news before release I want a reason to pick up the new version - I've yet to see that though.

Tornados is fantastic, hail is also great as these are real things some mid western farmers deal with.

AI workers probably going to drive straight into the tornados.
It's funny that they used lyrics from the wind of change. "On a glory night where the children of tommorow dream away". "And the wind of change".
I feel like the hail should damage the paint. + i hope the tornado can damage sheds that you will have to repair
So are we going to be able to get tornado insurance? That would be pretty neat
Finally I can feel fully immerse, in my county every year we get a tornado and it's community event to watch it
Thanks for the video!
I wonder if you drove a vehicle in front of the tornado what would it do. Like a storm chaser.

Do you have a PS5 link that helps the channel out for pre-ordering??
Sadly no, there are no ref/partner links for consoles

Do we know if you have to buy a 2nd copy to run your own dedicated server like with previous versions?

It rhymes because they are paraphrasing the scorpions song "wind of change" lol
They should add a serious/Entertaining *Story Mode* IMO
I noticed the water tower @ 8:32 and @ 9:45 are different, maybe a before and after versions of the tornado damage?
is there a setting that i am missing for tornatos cause i have played countless hours already and have yet to have a tornato?
Always hyped to see another farmer cop video
So Co-Op passengers when?
Tornados? Oh great. You work for hours on your farm, only to have it destroyed by a twister. What a fun idea?
You can turn them off, they add realism and that is why they exist
@@FarmerCop Oh, I'm sure they do add realism and I'm not against it. I can just see it as being something I would play with for a bit, then turn it off because it could get a little more frustrating than the benefit of that kind of realism.
Npcs will be a great touch
Will Pigs fly finally?
With all the new crop destruction im left wondering if we will be abke to insure our crops in fs25?
So will there be different sizes? F1 - f 5?
No only one size
Wow add lot with the weather
7 minutes 42 seconds. It looks Like care possibly passed the tractor. It's over the center line in the middle of the road
You can now chase tornadoes in a farming game💀🙏
Would there be tornado sirens?
A reason to have sheds? I’m in!
Hurts ya yeld ? The wind......
Now they got my attention,
I'm driving my tractor into a tornado 😂

For all we know they will be there too
Hope we don't get a tornado every 5 minutes of gameplay...
There will be at most 1 every year in game, but not every year
I want to install a trailer park

Yea by me in eastern NC, we got half an inch of rain in June and like 15 inches in July and just as much in august
@@Quan_Dingle_ Good growing season there. We used to live south of Raleigh / Durham. Had quite a few working fields and a cow pasture all around us.
