New Developer here, what do you guys recommend when putting together a game? I'm working on a fairly unique horror genre game and want to ensure I'm taking the right steps to make it as great as it can be, and polish it up as much as I can before releasing. Any advice on making the primary game storyline more interesting?

I built an obby with 100 stages. It was very amazing built and it had around 450-500 players. It died later but i earnt like 600k. It is possible to earn so much of small games.
Everytime i think i cant do a cool feature for my game i get demoted so i watch people who are good a listen to their achivements and i think i can get where they are and im motivated again

man i'm like the exact opposite. i'm uncreative and bad at building with any engine, but i'm capable of translating and working with basically all the relevant and used coding languages. i feel your pain. it's like i have so much i *could* do but no outlet of getting it done because i'm missing the other half.
