    Beautiful work and design. You said "weathered look". Mustard/vinegar then acid etch or vice versa? Always enjoy your videos. And like so many other viewers, I continually review your knife making lessons. Cheers, Jump'nJak

      This was acid etched and then with the mustard and vinegar mix on top

    Outstanding blade brother.
    I have my first layer of refractory compound drying on my forge. Going to give it a couple days to dry before applying the last coat. I’ll give it at least 48 hours to dry, then start the curing process. Man I can wait to start working my own blades. Thanks for the inspirations Brother.

    Is there a reason for a split tempering cycle?

      @@Aleeknives rather than 4 hours at 400 degrees to temper the blade, you split it to two 2-hour temper cycles.
      2 hours should be enough, so I assume you do it for redundancy's sake.
