It’s kinda like her take on mumble rapping. If you care about voice quality she has other songs but she does play around a lot so she just might not be for you. Also, just so were clear that the statement “music these days sucks” for this voice thing is kind of nonsense... distorting your voice in music is not new, hard rock and metal singers have been doing it for some time now. Sometimes jazz singers do this and Scat definitely tends to incorporate vocal play that express sound that goes with the music but the singers dont focus on words. Every singer doesn’t need lyrics to sing, just listen to the sound. Music is much more enjoyable that way.
