Naga mentality of quick rich by selling small things. Many visitors asked me why things are so costly. Can our local entrepreneurs adjust their prices based on investment and fixed price. Many Indians visitors were looking for cheaper prices. We should also open more of vegetarian food
will not b authentic if theres many veg stall ,regarding about prices comparing to neighbouring state festival its reasonable ,the entry fee is like nothing and all the perfomance from morning till night is free the equation is balance so no complains ,visit other countries youll b suprised by the prices especially tourist hotspot areas even mainland indians scamming us n.easterns and foreigners 😂
Tell them why prices are double in their beaches, festivals

I'm not saying you are wrong. But this is the nature of every festival.
Myself, I know I can buy local wine for the max 50rs per jug,
Sometimes it's too good sometimes, it's tooo watery.
But what I want too say is,
I work hard, daily I earn about 700- 1200or 1500 per day if day is good.
But lol, a visit to hornbill cost more then my earnings due to the surge in price.
But well, it's the festival of the rich,
So, hope the tourist enjoyed more then us.
But yeah prices should be revised and also be strictly monitored

Nagaland government should provide transportation on subsidies rate and built agro wholesale market on all hinterland of the district. I urge Nagaland government to stop demanding from the poor farmers and start providing then both the farmers and the government will grow hand in hand....by doing so Nagaland government can fix all the price and will be in a position for supply and demand and generate more revenue. ❤

I can be biased to what the tourist says regarding to the prices.
The foods are reasonable, but the Products....!! overpriced tey, as if they are selling gold and silver. This mentality of getting rich overnight should be changed. Not only the tourist but even we want to buy some traditional products but due to heavy price, we don't even want to approach them...😡😡😡

Asking Thais for cultural similarities with Nagas is like a Bihari asking a UP walla for cultural similarities. I do not blame Nagas having been kept under systemic isolation and alienation and latched onto a culture alien to them for decades after decades until recent times. There is a lot of deliberate distortion and confusion created about Naga origins, race, culture and identity.from the Mainland. Nagas have pathetically failed to stand up or assert about this for themselves. Naga racial identity and culture will go extinct at the way things are going,leave alone this Hornbill festival. How many visitors from China, Myanmar, and other SE Asian nations and Far East came or have come since it began ??? Just for the asking and just my sole opinion
