What's the use of those two pegs in the handle if not to fasten the steel to it?
And those 3 holes on the steel handle.

blade looks nice, not fancy, definitely looks like a tool to be used for cutting...
my only problem with it's construction is all the CA glue, more/better effort at cutting/forming the handle instead of filling in gaps with CA glue would make for a better machete imo
