@zeb3144 Gotcha. 😀 The sites a bit daughting when you get there as you're met with some shear drops once you're through the gate. There is an easier route to the right, but it's not too obvious if you've not been there before. 😁 We have taken a standard freelander 2 around there. It's one of our first uploaded videos onto this channel if you scroll back. It will catch underneath on a good few of the obstacles at Avalanche, but don't be too concerned as the Freelander 2 underside is pretty tough and takes a lot of knocks. 😁 If you can, try and get a MuddyMods tank guard for your Freelander 2 as the fuel tank is the most vulnerable bit of the car. Sometimes, there are 2nd hand ones floating around. Lastly, if you haven't done so already and you have a Facebook account, make sure you join the Freelander 2 Off Road Group (FL2ORG). We normally do an Avalanche trip every year and haven't done 1 so far this year. If you need any more tips, feel free to ask. 😁 - Scott
Ok that's it. I am booking a day at Avalanche. 😁
They have a date at the start of September. Let us know if you book on and we will too 😁
Im looking at booking a day here. I bought a FL2 recently and am wanting to try it out.
Hi Zeb 👋.
It's a great site to experience what a Freelander 2 can do. Have you done much off-roading/pay and plays in the past? 😀
