- In this video, we will analyze a heat transfer from a gear profile geometry. The gear has a sinusoidal teeth profile. These sinusoidal teeth have been generated using the profile equations. Using this equation, we would obtain the coordinate points. Connecting these coordinates we would obtain a 3D Curve. This is a ANSYS Fluent Tutorial, we would start from the beginning of the creation of the geometry and then do the meshing. We would set up the CFD solver. Find out the CFD Post Processing Results.

Thanks
Thank you so much
Can you do a video on cfd analysis on parallel flow heat exchanger
Better to use involute equation directly in spaceclaim as you have shown in one of your other videos, to get the gear geometry
The teeth shape can be customized by using this method.
Great
Thank you.❤️
If the gear is immersed in a fluid like MRF whose viscosity changes in the presence of magnetic field. How to simulate for the developed heat due to the interaction?
You need to use UDF or tabular data input for this. Watch our tutorial on table data input in ansys to get an Idea regarding this.
Many Thanks
I have a model of a heat exchanger can you help me doing a cfd analysis on it
Yes, please send your project work details. ansystutor7@gmail.com
Please dont use background music
Ok. Would try to reduce the volume.
