This guy is amazing. Although he is a high flyer in gov sector, he dares to give it all up to start his own business. It’s only a single failure. This guy has a bright future before him. I’ll love to meet this guy.

He said that one of the investor is demanding that they should open 10 new machines or outlets and they were running out of money. With that The mother of all their problems is that they are expanding even though their business is not yet really profitable.

He wanted to scale so fast and that ruined what could be a potential game changer

Singapore hard to create any business. Trust me. SUPER HIGH manpower cost. Especially with the limit to employ cheaper foreign labour. Even after you succeed, you will hit a ceiling as the Singapore market is super small. Then as you go overseas, even harder because Singapore is surrounded by countries with lower cost capability, a technology that catching up, as well red tapes that you never have seen before such as the need to bribe. That's why you hardly can see any Singaporean become rich & successful enterponour. The environment is not there. The support is not there.
You will have much more success overseas.

problem was the recurrent expenditure he insisted on pay day eve so much thats where he went wrong I think he can re do it better by allowing hawkers access to the booths and build a co-ownership of booths like giving lower rates upon delivery of foods from each kitchen with a space I think the angel investor was right on this one this idea may make him more millions if he stopped doing it alone and team up well with other companies and do deliveries on commission not hire the entire work load what he did he got addicted to the fast money
