      @AnthonySouls 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      TBH, I wasn't expecting Anna to be as empathetic as she was, because people act like nothing bothers her and she has thick skin, so I thought she wouldn't be able to relate as much.

    • @Taima
      @Taima 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@AnthonySouls Wut? Having a thick skin doesn't mean you're a robot, it means you don't take emotional damage as easily. Levy Rozman is a plenty empathetic person who also has pretty thick skin. They're separate skills.

    • @AnthonySouls
      @AnthonySouls 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@Taima I don't like levy's personality, TBH. Lol. Regardless, empathy is usually increased through shared experiences / emotions. If nothing truly bothered you, then it would be harder to identify with that person. For example, If someone got really emotional when people bullied them psychologically and another person doesn't care what people say to them, I think the one not bothered would inherently find it hard to emphasize if they never truly experienced the negative impact / emotions of being bullied.
      Might be a bad example, but trying to illustrate a point that when you put yourself into someone else's shoes and emphasize, you need to understand how the person would feel and see through their eyes. If nothing someone says ever bothers you, then I think it would make it far more difficult.
      I'm surprised that Anna was able to be so empathetic when you rarely see that side, IMO. It's almost like nothing ever gets her down, like if someone never experiences deep depression, how can they ever see through the eyes of a truly depressed individual and understand where they are coming from? There is cognitive empathy, but I think the empathy anna showed was relating on an emotional and experiential level.
      But yeah, it was just a simple comment, really. I was surprised. I wouldn't call "thick skin" really a skill, but maybe so. I think there is a certain level of vulnerability needed to be empathetic.

    • @JoeJoe..
      @JoeJoe.. 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@AnthonySouls Having a thick skin, doesn't mean you are not bothered by getting bullied. The way how you react to those things tells if you have a thick skin.
      To stick with your example:
      You can get bullied and cry on the toilet. You can get bullied and start a physical fight because your emotion take over. Both examples don't have a thick skin.
      You can get bullied and ignore it and control your emotions. You can also get bullied and stand up for yourself without physical violence. Both are examples of people with thick skin because they are able to control their emotions in a very difficult and emotional situation.
      But in all 4 examples the ones getting bullied still have the access to the same bad emotion because they are getting bullied. That means everyone of them most likely can relate to each other and show empathy.

    • @lanceareadbhar
      @lanceareadbhar 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It's fun and for many people the stress detected does indicate a lie as that would be hard to fake that biological reaction. It's "easier" to train the body to not have the stress response when lying, but that also wouldn't be fun to watch. I do agree that this is not admissible as there are so many other variables that can cause a stress reaction when telling the truth and to stay stress free when lying.

    That said, I couldn’t help but notice that both women missed Rxd3 for Anna Cramling which is why the eval bar was going crazy. AC brings her bishop back saying she has a terrible position, but the truth is she’s actually winning after Rxd3 because Qe1 is back rank mate so white can’t take back. I don't get why people don't think they are affecting real people. I never understood it. Who do they think is on the other end? Aliens? Lol Robots? Just a weird way for people to not treat others like they normally would, IMO. I think it is less about forgetting and more about using the internet as an outlet for suppressed personality traits.

      @@AnthonySouls Don't forget that many among us are kids who can write perfect English yet are not matured. Then there are us men who act as kids, and women can be just as bad. I come from a time where being anon on the internet was the norm and people were living basically seperate lives and identities, so things being said wouldnt be personal tailored if you will. If you expose yourself online with your true identity, unfortunately you also open doors where people are able to find things about you to hurt you more.
      You wouldn't stand for it IRL, but like you said, it has become a tool for frustration relief by people who are not happy about their own lives.
      I sometimes find myself throwing out random negative comments or trying to win the "best joke with most likes game".
      Social media is deteriorating us as human beings for sure. Making fun of someone will be the #1 comment in every video, even without pin of shame.
