Cool water makes me feel nostalgic.
DUDE! You and I are on the same wavelength! You end up reviewing fragrances I literally get delivered the same day! Same thing happened with Bentley intense a few weeks back. I LOVE this one. It doesn’t smell like the original (which I don’t even like lol!). This is something different that I don’t have anything like in my collection. I’m an Amber FIEND, so I’ll take it. Lasts a very long time. 6 hours and it’s still going strong on my hand. And it’s cheap! Can’t go wrong.

Chaos Fragrances I’m not sure if you’ve tried Perry Ellis Pure Blue, but I’m getting something way way way into the weak phases of CW Intense in the dry down that is reminding me of it.

I had A bottle of Cool Water when I was a kid 25 plus years ago. I remember thinking it was amazing back then. I bought a bottle just for the heck of it maybe 10 years ago. I wasn’t impressed at all. I also got a gift set of Davidoff Good Life many years ago and I received a lot of compliments wearing that. The Good Life after shave was pretty nice. If the price for Cool Water Intense is in the same ballpark as the original maybe I’ll grab a bottle for old time sake.
This had been my go to gym fragrance since I got it. Comes off as a blue fragrance to me.
the new one is probably something that younger people are going to enjoy. I have found that when I've shown girls in their 20s the EDT they want nothing to do with it.

I just got mine cool water the OG one it reminds me of a barber shop smell it’s clean fresh but I feel it’s for some a bit older then me I’m just 23yrs old but over all it’s a good cologne for the price u can’t beat it.
I love the OG Cool Water. Had it since I was a kid. Nowadays, I use it on my bed. Smells amazing as always. I’m very interested in smelling Intense. Prices look pretty decent now.

I like cool water wave and intense but I know it sounds crazy but I just think that the OG cool water is one of the best damn fragrances known to man. It just hits you with that water smell, thats the only way to describe it for me.

The original cool water is by far the best clone of green Irish tweed. Which that was what it was going for. Smelling the OG reminds me of JR high in the late 90’s. This was a lot of teenagers signature scent along with the original Polo. I personally haven’t smelt the intense version of this, but I use the original after shave after I shower and shave my head and face. The citrus blast is the main thing you smell until after several hours of dry down. Then this scent becomes it’s own.
Honestly I’ve went through smelling like 10 of the “popular” colognes out there costing up to $160. Couldn’t stand them. Everything is so strong and nose burning to me. Went to Walmart and spent $20 on a bottle of Cool Water and man it’s so refreshing.

Just got it this week, love it, very different to the original but I have to say it smells really good, glad it was a bit different as many of the other flankers are quite similar

never wanted the og cool water. My first scent was the Cool Water Lemon Fizz and I think it isn’t produced anymore, after my scent was out I bought the Cool Water Wave which in my case is a compliment killer but I don’t get as much compliments with it compared with the lemon fizz

I used to wear the original DCW in my twenties as my daily fragrance for quite a long time.
Later on I sort of grew out of it and also started to dislike the specific "dish soap" or "floor soap" notes it was developing into in later hours after application.
Now I got a sample of DCW Intense together with my recent order of Prada L' Homme and was surprised how nice and round, pleasantly sweet with a bit of ambroxane, it smells.
Decided to give it a shot and ordered a 75 ml today.
If it will get compliments I will include it in my daily usage fragrance selection.
Any results ?

Was not super into this one, but I like the first few hours. Though, I was never a fan of Cool Water to begin with. This is vastly superior to the original for sure. The mint ruined the original composition, it's weird.
CWI have harsh synthetic opening, smells like an Orange mixed with Windex, dry down is 99% similar to dry down off Versace blue jeans, smells like Juniper for a few hours before it completely disappears.Original cool water is way better, CW smells dated, but still can be used, compared to CWi which is just synthetic mess. Just my two cents 😃.

Cool water intense lasts and lasts
It’s a sleeper. A very close likeness to Versace Eros. Eros is smoother throughout and ever so slightly sweeter, but they are very similar.
The opening is a bit sharp, but in a few minutes it settles and is pretty nice. I think that’s the coconut sneaking in.
When it dries down, it’s almost like Eros but it’s missing the woodsy vanilla note. Not something most will notice.
It will last on my skin for 10 hours or more.

How does the coconut compare to St Sail St Barts?
This smells nothing like the original. It was a blind buy for me when I was traveling to Japan and I forgot to bring a cologne. In Sapporo, Japan, I could not smell myself at all. I guess the cold weather just overpowered it. However, back in Thailand, it turns out to be a compliment getter. Girls love it. And it is super long lasting. Sillage is excellent!

Ceasabeatz FOR ME, yes it is after a few hours, it becomes like Eros, and it lasts long! The first sprays, I didn’t like it. Wait for few hrs and you will smell Eros, that’s because its heart notes contain Amber just like the Eros. Plus, it leaves a nice scent trail behind when you’re walking. I’d say try it! It’s cheap and you’ve got nothing to lose. Just some warning though, the first sprays might smell powdery, but like I said just wait for its DNA to kick in. Both sillage and projection are good. Also, performance is extremely good too! For a cheap fragrance.

I've been using cool water for years as a everyday. I do own some of the more expensive brands, but I have received a few compliments over the years while wearing the original. To me its a fresh clean scent. I do want to try green Irish tweed by Invictus because I've heard that it's very similar to cool water., Good review,I like the honesty.

I once sprayed it two times before going out, after i got home i was sitting in my room and the whole room was smelling like crazy. I enjoy it more with just one spray.

Cool water is just an easy to wear cheap dumb reach fragrance for casual wear in the spring and summer not my favorite but I like the way it smells but intense is a much better to me I prefer the profile overall probably because I wasn’t born for a few years after the original came out I’m more into modern leaning fragrances and overall with price and performance this is a better value I think it is a unique but pleasant scent that is versatile and easy to pull off like the original but this newer one is you get Leaning for sure. I prefer the intense to the parfum but those two I wear much more than the OG but you can’t really go wrong with any of them great cheap line that’s proven to be timeless

The notes are nothing like the original, it’s not as if they’ve took out a few lighter notes like the lemon and mint and pumped it up with some heavier aroma. I mean it’s actually nothing like the original cool water, so just don’t get where the intense CW comes in?
Cw notes from what I remember were lemon mint lavender rosemary sandalwood geranium tobacco and a few others. This has orange coconut and amber. Surely this would be w fragrance in its own right?

@@liskab3518 Probably a different batch, many people think this one lasts (very) long (see also at Fragrantica), some say only a couple of hours. I get a very good performance out of this one every time I use it. Try it on your clothes as well.

Cool water is harsh?? very sharp?? one of the main reasons i love Cool water is because i think its the exact opposite! very subtle, very non-offensive. I know everyone has different tastes but i find that very interesting

Imo its not all that pleasant of a scent. Its kind of abrasive but flat smelling at the same time. It doesnt have much complexity to it. Might smell different for other people. I never use this, its just in the collection.

I might be a bit late to your comment, but I just bought the edp and I can confirm it’s long lasting. It smells VERY much like Sauvage which I have (the edt) and with a couple of sprays on each wrist of both Sauvage & CW-P, before bed. In the morning I could clearly still smell the CW-P where as I could barely detect a whisper of Sauvage, even though Sauvage is supposed to be a strong performer compared to typical frags.
Help 911 I need help buying a colonge for my boyfriend for Christmas and my ex wore cool water I love it.....but understandably he doesn't want to smell like my ex. ......I like the smell of Gucci Guilty Black, he wore one million to his bestfriends wedding I loved that but I want something that wont bother his skin as my boyfriend has syrious/ kinda like eczema and I dont want a fragrance to irritate his skin.....I need help please please please.
I'll highly recommend Versace Dylan Blue or Versace Eros or Azzaro Wanted Night. They stay quite a while with you and receive a lot of compliments. I'll strongly recommend your man doesn't spray any juice on his skin. He can just do 3 or 4 bursts on his shirt. Fabric usually holds scents more.

I am huge fan of original cool water but i dont like this one. Its very long lasting, price is excellent considering it is edp and performs very well. When it comes to smell itself, its different from og cool water, synthetic after drys out. In my opinion this should be a new Davidoff fragnance with new name and bottle, instead being new Cool Water version.
I think it's more than relevant. I think we should go back to the 90s fragrances, and stop trying to make everything so sweet. Women have their own perfumes.
Still enjoy the original cool water...the new intense is not a bad scent but just not for me..performance and projection was average on me..
I have this and among the 50 frags I have it is one of the most boring and uninspired. Smells like mild coconut and amber. Only good for fall time. Be cautious of anybody hyping this.
