The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) returns for an exciting second season after breaking first-day streaming records on Showmax Nigeria.
RHOLagos Season 1 followed the opulent lives of six glamorous Lagos women: businesswoman Carolyna Hutchings, influencer Laura Ikeji-Kanu, lawyer and luxury hair brand owner Chioma Ikokwu, celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani-Adebayo, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and PR expert Mariam Timmer as they dealt with personality clashes while navigating their businesses and personal lives.
Real housewives of Lagos Season 2 sees the return of Chioma, Laura, Iyabo, Mariam, and Toyin, and the introduction of two brand new cast members - fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and former model and socialite Faith Morey. Real Housewives of Lagos Season 2 Episode 1 gives an introduction to the 2 new cast members and how they try to understudy the women of the group as well as deal with the unnecessary antagonism that's already brewing towards them from Mariam and Iyabo Ojo.

Dr Rommel is annoying at some point he sounded like a Chihuahua. Mariam was shaking, she was definitely scared.
Laura brought no drama in season one .It was a misconception of most people..She can with an air of self defence cos everyone wanted a pound of flesh of her sister from her.She is Laura no Lynda.They wanted her to right all Lynda's wrong.
I had same sentiments in the beginning of Season 1, then further into the season, it was all her and not about her sister anymore. She took accountability for her actions later in the season

Honestly Glory, even from season 1, Iyabo instigated everything that happened to Laura, cos Laura was trusting and didn't have the experience to deal with it and express herself, she then came across as problematic, same thing she did between Chioma and her friend.

Choima is a snake… am sure she has a clean slate b/c of her connections or back door handling… production should drop a bonus episode that only includes “unseen footages” so people the true colors of these mean girls… also new cast should be warned about bullying and don’t promote bad behaviors in next season… We should all learn from Faith!!!
I feel like Chioma didn't come coz she didn't want to take accountability for her lies and especially about what she said about Toyin pregnancy. And iyabo didn't want to take accountability for her violence as well towards Chioma, Mariam and Tania on that trip and of the fact that she believed Dr Rume's lies

The producers really dropped the ball on the reunion, as an avid viewer of housewives across the globe, I know that reunions are mostly filmed around 5 episodes before the season finale. And know HW has ever skipped a reunion even when you’ve been charged by the FBI aka Jen Shah of Salt Lake City and Teresa G of New Jersey housewives.

- Where are the clips from the season, they should be playing them in-between conversations.
- The host is not hosting, people are "rambling" she's sitting listening to unending stories?
- Where are the comments from the viewers asking relevant burning questions from social media?
All of this after making us wait for three months and bringing us half of the cast.. these are basics.. This was painful to watch.

Finally, this reunion is here, after how many months, like seriously.
I was suspecting Chioma not to attend because her school mother had announced that she would not be there. And of course the "follow-come" friend Tania I knew would follow like sheep 🤦🏽♀️. I hope production does not bring them back for another season. Infact it is time for new set of ladies who enjoy collaboration and not there to bully each other.
As for the reunion, I am happy with the discussions they had, but still confused at some. I can't understand why Mariam will not just take accountability but rather go on a rant. And to think she actually thinks she was reacting to Faith is absurd. She started insulting Faith first, how could she forget that. She realized that she was carrying other people's matter on her head when they didn't even care for her.
As for Dr. Rommel (Romole, Rume Rume in Toyin's voice 🤣🤣🤣🤣), ah that man needs to fear God small. No accountability whatsoever. I am mad that they keep making his a** relevant by even bringing him around. The audacity for me 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️.
Looking at the unseen footage of the Epke trip, I ask myself it was removed in the first place. Production is trying to cover their a**** because Iyabo claims she was following what they asked her to deliver. They were covering her attitude all along but she turned on them. The vile she poured out towards Faith she had not met before or getting to know was from her heart and not a script.

Been watching all your reviews from the Land of the Brave, Namibia 🇳🇦 Though I caught a few episodes, I must admit that the toxicity was on a all-time high this season. It is disheartening thatsome of the women failed to inspire but rather disenfranchised others.
The tragedy is that a gay man was used to vilify and bully women. I am not against the inclusion of homosexuals in women shows but they shouldn't be agents that acts against women emancipation. It is a reality that some gay men are in competition with women and hate women so it would be good if production does not including of those who portray such characteristics towards women. It is bad enough that women are against each other, we can do without gays also joining the bandwagon to bully women. 47:02
My own is they should bring out more unseen footages of iyabo and her puppets in season 3 and they should cast Faith, Tiannah, Laura, Mariam, Caroline, Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke and Mercy Johnson

I just watched the reunion last night and it was underwhelming to see just 3 cast members and "a friend to the show" dr rommel.This could have been an epic reunion but the other ladies refused to show up.That was unprofessional in my opinion,the "bravo franchise" of housewives dare not show up,cos they are bound by contract,i think they are not even fully paid until they film the reunion,so why cant that apply to the nigerian housewives? reunions are a place for accountability its like the "judgement day" of housewives show ,you speak your truth and stand up for yourself and apologise and make things right when needed.So whats the point of filming then if you chicken out at the end?.I am so dissppointed in those ladies who refused to show up with the exception of Tianna who couldnt for health reasons .It was a 2/10.And it could have been a 10/10 if all ladies showed up.Let me raise my glass to dr rume rume😂,atleast he didnt cop out ,he came and defended himself.Welldone to Faith,mariam and laura ❤🎉you showed up and showed out!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻,Let me leave it here ,cos i could go on and on 😂

I've loved Laura right from Season 1 and I understood the reasons behind her flaws then. We're all humans u know. Faith is a definition of cool, calm and collected. She has a descipline that not everyone can abide by. Every other person in season 2 except this two, was two-faced.
