My dream is to see Marie in the UFC and training with Rose Namajunas. Imagine Marie combining her own raw talent with Rose's extraordinary foot and head work.
The other great part of that is that Valentina Shevchenko and Rose also train together. Valentina is a Muay Thai queen with 59 fights and 57 wins. I'd love to see Marie Ruumet make the move to the UFC when she's ready.
UFC is garbage. All that ever happens in their events, is the two "fighters" lay on the ground and grope each other like needy homosexuals for 2 hours. That's even worse than the constant needless ref interference that occurs in the Marie fights as they are now.
@Bug Eater She has started studying JuiJitsu and MMA. already. Remember, she's young and has time to learn. A lot of MMA stars got their early start fighting Muay Thai in Thailand.

Good match, and fair and counting victory for Marie. Loomanee is a strong grandmaster. She is also renown for using her elbows. Marie uses elbows too a lot, but Marie being a good all-round Muay uses elbows mostly to get good points. Loommanee uses often elbows to cut the opponent, and get her win this way. Either the opp cease fight, or the match doctor stops the fight.... Sylvie got over 20 stiches in her first match with Lommanee...Yes, the doc stopped. I dont know if Lommanees elbows are extra bony, or if she has a trick to cause cuts... As we saw, Marie luckily didnt not got cut, perhaps because her defensive was good, but she got bloody nose. I havent seen no bloody nose on Marie in any of her earlier matches. So Lommanee was quite near to succeed with her especial weapon.

Me too, but so far I haven't seen any real fights with her, because the refs always interfere every few seconds just when she starts to pummel the men who she's fighting really good.

Ruumet has been in such a great shape this last year. It's just pedal to the metal every single fight and all of that with really clean technique. If she keeps this going, she's getting places for sure.

@@saysoun752 agreed , she's an great boxer , no doubt there. yet she needs syncronize her kicks in line whilst having her upper body and head covered as most as possible too . it is easy to say this tho as an watcher and viewer if not in the midst of an heated fight yourself , but i can defo see that as of my own experience , back when i did to kick- and muay thay boxing tournaments and exercise rounds aswell i often caught myself not having my upper half covered by arms when kicking around. dunno there exactly , but it seems to be like an human inherent and often used cognitive behaviour to me "forgetting" about like berserk swoop around and in , you know, as i seen it several times the same pattern on and by many other sportive combatants aswell. taking and having a good cover all the time is truely one of the most important and match changing aspect that needs to have your own self aware and pretty of self discipline also , on whom i struggled myself for years doing it properly and still reflecting on it when doing to home practice. it is kind of automatic mechanism you need to get practice and soaking into you until it "sits and fits". some get it faster some taking more time to get used to it. beside that marie's overall cover is pretty good.

ฝากท่านพิจารณาสักนิด : มวยหญิงควรงดใช้ศอก เพราะศอกเป็นอาวุธที่อันตรายมากต่ออวัยวะต่างๆ ในส่วนของศีรษะ เช่น ดวงตา สมอง เส้นประสาทต่างๆ และอื่นๆ ซึ่งจะมีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อนักกีฬาในอนาคต มันดูตื่นเต้นสะใจสำหรับบางคน แต่...../ มวยหญิงควรเอาชนะกันด้วยลีลาแม่ไม้มวยไทยต่างๆ ซึ่งมีเยอะแยะมากมาย หรืออย่างหากอีกฝ่ายเสียรูปมวยอีกฝ่ายก็จะได้คะแนน ซึ่งส่วนนี้เป็นความสวยงามของมวยไทยอย่างหนึ่ง ซึ่งบางประเทศไม่ให้ความสำคัญในส่วนนี้

Rs strength training is really starting to show
Long time Marie Ruumet fan so bias. To many good things to say in this one. I really love how she is focused and working the fundamentals. Jab, roll, footwork. Do I even need to mention the elbows. Bloody nose looked like a distraction but she worked back and grappled to gain refocus it looked like their. Pro move in my opinion.
I agree with you Boris, I am biased towards Marie too. She is focused and knows the fundamentals extremely well. It is kind of like, she is not happy until her nose gets bloodied , when in a fight, then she opens up and really turns it on.
The Viking goddess always give us a great show. She's just awesome.
If she wanted to she could get inside and dominate every fight with her boxing. But it's cool that she's being a well rounded fighter and doing everything. Her throws and elbows were beautiful. I love how she catches the kicks and uses that as an opening to throw her hands. After that they are afraid to kick her. They are afraid to kick and her hands are better. They can't do anything.

Can someone explain the rules of this competition ? Why does the referee keep breaking up active clinch ? Is he not supposed to break up the clinch if nothing is happening ?
In these stadiums they set their rules not allowed gambling, not allowed clinching too long or more than 3-5second they want fight to be exiting not bored also by allowing clinching too long it favor muay knees and clinching just like mma give too much advantage for grappler jiu jitsu

Three round fights starts from the very 1ST round not like the other 5 round 1,2 fighters just use for warming up they start to fight 3rdand 4th round only and 5 last round they came out raise their hands and dancing so muay hard core, Super Champ,8MAx and MX muay Extream make it only 3 round

I think what you are talking about is because of how the organizers run the events, because I've seen a diff ref who behaved in the same way in another Marie fight. So the refs aren't trying to grope the woman for sexual reasons, but rather, they are interferring every few seconds simply in order to stop the fight from getting really good & interesting and to stop the loser from getting knocked out, which seems to be the policy that they are told to follow.
Also, there is only one woman in these fights (Marie), so not sure where you getting "women," as in plural, from.

Marie's a great fighter. But I don't understand: 1. Why do they keep pitting her versus men? 2. Why do the refs always interfere every 10 seconds? That makes the fights really boring and lame! It would be so much better if the referees did nothing unless someone does something blatantly illegal, like if Marie kneed one of the men she's fighting in their testicles, for example.
