Wow, that was extremely painful to my delicate ears. Congratulations, Nick, you have successfully weaponized sound, the government contracts will begin rolling in shortly. In truth, I am deeply impressed by your engineering skills, the more so because you don’t present as a classic nerd operating out of momma’s basement. (Your cover is secure.) Still ready to invest in you. Just resist the dark side and keep using your super powers for Good.
I live to make ears bleed! I appreciate you not blowing my cover, it would be terrible for my image. And Idk if the dark side has really tempted me yet at all, but I'd give me about 2-3 more years before I sell out if the call comes
Hey! If you're new to this, I'd really recommend building just 1 oscillator from the first link I have in the description and seeing if you can get that one working first. I'm just using that design, only with a power rail and running the output of each oscillator through a button. If you can get one done, then you can get them all done. The only difference is on the higher notes I did use a different capacitor, but I'm traveling rn so it might be a bit before I get back to you with that info
Lol to me it's more of a Bukowski "don't try" sorta thing. I need to remind myself from time to time to stop dreaming and actually make something. Then no matter how it comes out, at least it's there in the world, and you can move on to the next thing!
@@Sporp Right on the money sometimes I'm studying gesture drawing, and notice how it looks nothing like the model, disappointed. Only to remember that's the idea behind doing the damn practice anyway The human brain is smart, but very emotinally stupid
Might be able to run the output through some high and low pass filters to cut the noise, though I did make this more as a novelty rather than a serious instrument
Subscribe or I'll tell everyone about that embarrassing thing you did in middle school
Tune it and add a filter to soft our painnnnnn haha
Cool lil synth

10/10 would *beep* again
🅱️eep 🅱️eep
Totally Microtonal Dude
Lol I haven't even considered using this as a microtonal instrument! That's a great idea
Hello

Could you please provide the schematic?
I'm noob af

That it is dude. Just keep cranking at it, it's the only way to get better
this is awesome
its really harsh on the initial beat though, could there be a way to soften its impact?
