I read about that...I don't really buy it. Alistair was primarily trained for killing mages and darkspawn, Sten was primarily trained to fight enemy soldiers and is a more experienced warrior than Alistair. While I don't expect Alistair to be a pushover, Sten should win that fight reasonably well. Come to think of it there were quite a few things in that comic that didn't make sense...
@@MrRawrCEO training aside Alistair is pretty much a genius in fighting since the dude learned how to use templar abilities without lyrium which should be impossible unless your a seeker
@@7Kibz Earlier lore weirdness. The lyrium requirement for templar abilities was a post-Origins plot point. In Origins, it just boosted their efficacy.
@@MrRawrCEO You mean like Sten calling him Kadan out of nowhere? David Gaider more or less openly admitted to doing whatever he wants back when people asked him about Leliana coming back from the dead.
2:34 I wish we'd seen Alistair's hidden badass side here. "Sten... when I draw my sword, I don't sheathe until someone is dead. Are you saying you wish to die right now? No? Smart."
@@macrons593 Not if Alistair was hardened at that point. And Sten is a poser, better at killing younglings than darkspawn. I'd pick Alistair or Oghren over him any day.
@@macrons593 I suppose so. The game glosses over this, but by the time you reach Lothering, Alistair and company would have been through a lot of killing, plus loss and betrayal. That changes people. If the game took that route, Alistair's funnier moments should be more forced. Like he's trying to be someone that no longer exists.

Ohhhhh what a lovely format this is!! It keeps me watching without losing focus. Tysm!
Glad you like them! 😊
You went above and beyond in presenting these dialogs, well done indeed.
The honor of the Qunari is what landed The Iron Bull’s head as a trophy in the halls of the inquisitor lol.
So funny about the Spine part since in the comics he defeated Sten in a duel and makes an alliance with the qunari

@@MrRawrCEOI could easily buy that Alistair is just a naturally talented combatant and that made up for the gap in experience.

That would be incredibly out of character for someone like Alistair

So you do have a spine pity you don't use it
Alistair is my absolute favorite XD

How do you unlock this cutscenes?
The banter is randomly triggered after every few minutes in-game. This youtube channel took the audio from the files and animated it themselves.
