- My performance of Eugène Gigout's famous "Grand Chœur Dialogué" on Marshall and Ogletree Opus 9, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Lambertville, New Jersey.
Thank you to Doug Marshall, David Ogletree, and Sook Hyun Kim (St. John's Organist & Director of Music) for both the opportunity to record on Opus 9 and the permission to post this video on my TH-cam channel.

Timothy brought such beauty into this troubled world during his tragically short life. May he Rest In Peace.
Devastated to hear of this remarkably gifted young man's death in April 2017. What a tragic loss! My prayers and condolences to his family.
A great organist despite his young age !!! Equipped with an amazing, exceptional organ technique - both in the manuals and in the pedal - combined with a great musical sensitivity ... these qualities are typical of a more mature age !!! Hi, Timothy, rest in peace !!! We will continue to see you, to listen to your masterful performances and to get excited here on YT !!! Hi Tim !!!
An excellent example of a very gifted organist playing a magnificent electronic instrument that manages to replicate the American Classic sound perfectly, and absolutely without peer!!
+CowboyBill Thank you for your kind words!
These Marshall and Ogletree organs have been some of the most authentic sounding digital organs I have heard. I'd love to play one sometime.
This was played w such authority. Brilliant! Registration and interpretation superb! And I am nearly in tears to learn of his untimely passing. My condolences to his family, friends, and church family.
Blown away by this - magnificenty fluid rendition, so beautifully played!
Some rather insecure snobs in the organist world refer to non winded (aka digital) organs as “toasters”. This is NO TOASTER, by Marshall and Ogletree and there are no winded pipes anywhere! This organ is amazing as are all of their organs! Take a listen, even on You Tube the big Allen’s, Walkers, and this artisan company all are profoundly beautiful. Of course I am not suggesting all pipe organs be downplayed as they are treasures of course. Just stop calling the digital toasters!
Flawless -- with a great ability to keep the nervous tremble in your hands under disciplined control.
This was an excellent performance, for which you deserve my deepest respect, Sir.
Timothy, a wonderful performance of this Gigout piece! God has truly blessed you with superb talent! Best Wishes, David
Many thanks!
This Organ has a great symphonic sound- performance is excellent!!!
+Peter K. Thank you!

Breathtaking. Absolutely out of this world. Never heard saw such powerful hands. All by heart. You are so wonderful. Vous êtes absolument merveilleux. Je vous adore.
BRAVO !!!! Excellent tempo, pedal work and stop selection. I appreciate the strong pedal voicing and contrasting manual voicing too. Well Done. A good scotch is your reward !
Merci d’avoir filmé cette belle musique car je connaît beaucoup de musiques d’orgues dans beaucoup d’églises du Québec.❤ j’aime bien cette musique d’orgue c’est très majestueux.
Perfect tempo, perfect registration. M&O must be very pleased to have such a master for presenting their magnificent organs. Go on like this. I'm looking forward to any new video of you! Many, many thanks. Greetings from a german organ bench... :-)
Thanks for your kind comments, I'm glad you enjoy my posts! Greetings from the USA.
God Bless You! You brought such a gift of music to us. No one interpreted this composition better than you! It came from your heart. Thank you!
I think this St John's Organ might be the best sounding that m & o have built. The acoustics are wonderful. Playing was also first class.
+john bicknell Many thanks!
This is incredible performance! Thank You for the music!
Ciao Tim!!!
Dynamic performance, Tim! C'est magnifique!!! Tres bon, mon amie!!! Hope my limited French is Ok.........

Excellent Playing yet again and M&O organs are certainly at the top of their game. I would challenge the most die hard pipe organ fan to tell this was not the real thing at least from this recording.

Remember, about Eugene Gigout (born March 3, 1844 , dead December 9th, 1925, 81 y old) ; École Niedermeyer de Paris, had Clément Loret et Camille Saint-Saëns as musik teachers ; he tought the suite of Alexandre Guilmant in Musik hishschool of Paris, before Marcel Dupré. Marvelous sound!!
I really like M&O organs... in all the recordings i have heard, they have some of that French sound that the huge Caville-Colls are known for... the best sound in organs
Wonderful! Congratulations! I dream of these sounds!
Absolutely magnificent. Flawless and energetic performance on a top tier organ. Love it. Thanks!

Beautiful Timothy! One of the best I have heard. many thanks for this post. Hope to hear more.
Many thanks!
Absolutely spectacular playing... inspiring and rousing performance, and a remarkable organ that can pull it off.
Very good performance - in fact one of the best I've heard. Everything is right about this performance. You even pulled off the octave pedal part at 2:18-2:21 perfectly (the hardest part of the piece in my opinion). I guess it's about time I played it again.
+Sathrandur Many thanks!
Magnificently royal and sublime!! Bravissimo.

Wonderful! ♫♪
WOOO HOOO!
Have you studied organ music...?Repeatedly really nice, this facility, what you play...I hear me often to...Thank you..!!
No formal music education, I'm self-taught and learned most of what I know by picking up larger organ works and figuring out how to play them.
Then you deserve some congratulations for what you have learned. Very nice job. Let's hear some more posting - on a real organ.
Was this recorded directly from the digital source or from microphones in the room? Either way it sounds fantastic through my home stereo system!
Glad you enjoyed the audio! This recording is a mix of two stereo images, captured with two pairs of microphones. One pair was placed ~10 feet from the organ case, and the other pair was placed at the midpoint of the sanctuary.
GrandeBombarde16
Thank-you for the reply, yeah I was just curious because it sounds so good here through Klipschorn loudspeakers. Always appreciate a quality recording.
Awesome! I like the overlay showing the footwork on the pedals
WOW! 😍
I absolutely loved this performance! This is one of my favorite organ pieces. Was that a tuba stop by any chance in the "fanfare" part of the piece?
Glad you enjoyed! The big solo stop on this organ is sort of a cross between a Tuba and a Trompette en Chamade. It's a bit brighter than the average pipe organ tuba, but it also has the sonority of a tuba.
