@@KrystalogyReacts To Your Point of View Of Reacting to this movie Because Batman Is Raped By Talia and The writers of this movie Don't know that's is Sexual assault to A Male victim
The writer (Grant Morrison) who originally wrote this story in the comics actually said that he misremembered the scene of Batman between Talia. No one drugged anyone, it was actually consensual. Well consensual as how we see one of the main leads in a romance movie kiss the other lead. Also this is what Morrison said: “For a long time, [DC] said [Son of the Demon] was out of continuity. Now it's just kind of out of continuity. I didn't actually read it before I started writing this. I messed up a lot of details, like Batman wasn't drugged when he was having sex with Talia and it didn't take place in the desert. I was relying on shaky memories. But now we have this new "Superboy punch" continuity. People still don't realise how important that single punch was to cover everyone's ass.”
@uchenna ofoegbu Originaly (in the story they had sex), it was consensual, then when Damian was introduced it was accidentally changed to rape (because Morrison got some details about the orginal story wrong), and then when DC had a chance ti change it again they went back to consensual. This comes down to how DC handles continuity. For example in Marvel, generally, if an author wants something in the past changed they just have to put a "it happened like this..." in their comic and whatever retcon is newest is what "actually happened". Also they have a "shifting timeline" where (like The Simpsons) the comic is always happening "now", but the characters haven't really aged since they started, so the past is always in flux and, say, what war a character faught in in their backstory keep changing to whatever fits their age best now, and the amount of time between past events in the comic keeps getting smaller and smaller. DC on the other hand tries to have a much more "what you read happened as you read it" approach so if they want something that happened in the past to change they generally try to have the past actually get changed in universe. (This is also why DC keeps having "reboots", to keep their characters from changing too much over time.) So in this case when the sex scene happened it was consensual, but by the time the Damian story happened something in between then and now (the "Superboy punch") had caused the past to shift so Batman was drugged. Then they had to wait until the next big timeline change (Flashpoint) to change it back.
Really the only thing I dislike about these movies with Damian is that to make Damian more appealing they nerfed Nightwing hard. Like the Dick Grayson, Nightwing, the first protege to Batman, was reduced to a joke, always getting his ass handed to him against lesser villains we know he’s handled before. And all they have to excuse it is that Damian is “the blood son” so therefore he’s “better” then Dick. Nightwing is loved by many fans, so seeing him reduced to whatever they did to him in this series really took out the love I would have had got it had they actually bothered to give Dick’s character justice. Also the movies also wrote Jason and Tim out of the family completely and that’s inexcusable and a slap in the face to Jason and Tim fans too

Damian Wayne is Robin number 4. Dick Grayson came first, then he became Nightwing. Then Jason Todd came, and he became Red Hood, as you saw in "Under The Red Hood". After what happened to Jason, Batman was adamant that he wouldn't take another partner, and he started becoming a lot more brutal as a result. Dick convinced him to take on a new Robin, but the rest of the Bat Clan was adamant that what happened to Jason could never happen again. So the third Robin, Tim Drake, got put through the school of hard knocks to make sure he was as well-trained as possible. Eventually, he became Red Robin and (I think) started leading the Teen Titans. Damian Wayne eventually became the fourth Robin, and initially he was not well-liked because he was too similar to his grandfather, Ra's Al Ghul, but eventually they all came to respect him, and he also began to kind of mellow out. There's actually a famous story in the comics where Damian gets captured by one of Batman and/or the Justice League's major opponents (can't remember which one though), and Jason Todd (Red Hood) leads the Teen Titans on a rescue mission to save him. What's really cool about this rescue mission (which succeeds, by the way), is that all of the Titans, including Jason, are wearing Robin uniforms. When Damian asks why they did this, Jason tells him it's because they were honoring him, because they feel he truly is worthy of the mantle of Robin.

In the original comic books Talia and Batman had consensual sex. In fact they were in love for a time, before they retcon Son of the Demon comic book. She never rape him in the source material. Plus, Talia mostly an anti-heroine in most comic books. And she sometimes had to choose between her love for Batman or devotion toward her father.

This isn't really spoilers, but it could be seen as such, so... This seems to be a version of Deathstroke/Slade that didn't get the super soldier treatment yet, but he does seem to get it in later movies and puts up way more of a fight! Fairly certain they mention "enhancements" in a later movie...
Damian has the best character development through out these movies he grows on you real fast and once you near the end of the new 52 movies you Gon feel real sorry for him but real proud to
Damian is amazing The only problem with his character in these movies are he's too OP He defeats nightwing in training and almost In full on combat, takes Slades eye and defeats him later, swims miles, climbs a mountain when he was 4 and all before he had proper development Sure his grandfather was an excellent teacher but like nightwing said, batman is just superior and yet damien almost defeats batman's greatest son (combat wise, personally I'm more of a Jason guy) bringing him to jason's level of combat (holding back that is I mean he was holding back against batman I think, just luring him to the joker and yea some people can argue nightwing was holding back too cuz he isn't doing it for the kill) anyway jason had been trained by both the league and batman (In a select few timelines) which makes this more odd Also him defeating deathstroke (someone who batman Constantly has trouble with) all before he gets any sort of training by the bat makes no sense to me In the comics he is given alot of development and time with characters making him more lovable and every win and loss he takes has reason behind it Its acknowledged that jason and dick can beat him in a fight easily at his age but that's okay because at some point you know he'd get there and even surpass them In the animated movies it's really hard to like him as a character If facing the facts
In the comic, when Talia asks if Bruce fondly remembers their night together, Batman responds with something along the lines of, “What I remember is being drugged.” At no point do I remember him saying that it “wasn’t all bad”; that seems to have been something that the film added. He made it VERY clear in the comic that he was not okay with what she’d done.
I'm glad to see you're continuing to watch this DC animated universe. They're much better than most of the DC live-action shit we've been getting for the past 10 years.
honestly, as a fan of the comics, I used to hate talia too, but I watched this video on her that talked about how dc loves to demonize poc mothers, and have their white fathers be a saviour, which really changed my perspective of talia.. plus it was really our of character for her to harm the ones she loves. anyway great video!
in the comic nick fury lost his eye to his brother i think. he was a bad guy scorpion if i remember right. anyways he was betrayed by someone he trusted and the eye is a reminder to him
Glad to see you love Damian’s character more than general audiences do. His journey from “cocky, bloodthirsty little shit” to “family is actually really important to me” over the movies he is in is genuinely very good. Can’t wait for you to get to “Justice League vs. Teen Titans”, which is definitely the most obvious curve of that arc (along with being one of my favorite movies in this series).
That old ass man at the beginning of the movie with the long white hair wasn’t a grandfather. That was Talia’s brother. I’m pretty sure he just never used the Lazarus Pit.
Krystalogy, a little bit of Trivia, prior to the new 52 Deathstroke lost his eye due to his wife shooting him in the head after failing to save his youngest son from having his throat slashed, making him mute. funny thing is that the people trying to kill the son were mercs trying to get Deathstroke out of their way.
Since there are a ton of movies in this continuity, if you’re looking to take a break from them you should watch The Dark Knight Returns. It’s in two parts, so you can watch them separately or one after the other.
So it's actually Canon that basically that Talia always has fun consensual sex with Bruce to have Damien at the same time Bruce doesn't necessarily have the best taste in women considering the crazies he has been in relationship with and the murderers
Honestly, I’d argue Damian is the most like his father out of all the Robins. Dick and Tim take after Bruce’s heart, Jason takes after his violent side, while Damian takes after the… well… “depressed loner” side.
I have mixed feelings about Damian. I kinda hate him, but I also kinda love him. I really like his relationship with Batman in this continuity, but I wish they hadn't skipped over three Robins to get to him. Damian is the fifth Robin. In between him and Dick, there is Jason Todd, Tim Drake (my personal favorite), and Stephanie Brown. Each of them brings something unique and different to the table, and each in their own way helped pave the way for Bruce to be able to deal with Damian by the time he showed up. But I understand why the movie went this way, as Damian is the second-most well-known Robin after Dick. So they trim the fat in their animated movie universe and just skipped over the others to make him Dick's replacement. I get it, and I don't mind it too much. Just a nitpick.
I find this movie frustrating. The original Grant Morrison story arc is so much fun, and this film sucks all of the fun out, as if it were embarrassed by the goofiness of the original comics. For example, Damian still says the "I imagined you taller" line from his iconic first appearance, but the execution is completely different. In the film, he emerges from behind Curtain Number Three and slowly approaches his father, whereas Morrison had him suddenly appear with a sword aimed at Batman's neck. Even the Ninja Man-Bats are taken too seriously in this adaptation!
I wish we saw all the main 4 robins all together then Damian gets to meet all his brothers (I want to see him be friends with Jason, because you know. The would have a lot in common.😁)
Honestly I kind of wish the final battle against Deathstroke had Batman and Damian teaming up. First off it would be a cool father and son moment especially if they did a couple combo attacks against Slade. Also I think it would be better from a plot point of view since simply put no matter how well trained he is a 10-year-old should not be able to beat the worlds deadliest assassin single-handedly, much less while having his right arm stabbed through and blood leaking out everywhere. No 10-year-old no matter how amazing they are should be able to keep up with Deathstroke at that point. I can suspend my disbeliefs a bit but that’s too far

I love how in love you are with Nightwing, because I feel you could pull off a Starfire cosplay if you found yourself someone to do a Dick Grayson cosplay🤭
I loved how you basically narrated countless Maury episodes where they run paternity tests.
Imagine the child support Talia would get from Bruce.
The man's a billionaire, genius, playboy, vigilante (not so much the philanthropist).
Hell yes he is a philanthropist. He is the Wayne foundation which makes up the backbone of Gotham’s charity drives.
YES!! DEFINITELY EXCITED FOR THIS! One of my favorite movies! And Damain is my favorite Robin! The son of the Bat and the Demon! He’s just great! You’ll definitely love him more and more through this DCAMU watch!! Glad to see the reactions goin and goin Krysta!!❤️🖤❤️🖤
It’s damian
I like that the kept the voice actor for Damien for most of the movies he's in. Awesome reaction.
I mean, Ras Al Ghul is hundreds of years old. I am pretty sure Deathstroke can call him old.
Exactly 💀😂
Finally! Through this universe (through this movie if to be exact) I got into the DC Universe over all. I watched Damian's journey first (or Batman), then Justice league movies in this universe), then those than left as the last ones. I love this universe so much, no matter if someone hate it, I just love it. Also my favorite dc character is Nightwing and Flash. My favorite villain is Harley Quinn.
If you want to see more of Nightwing and Damian, the Teen Titans movies in this continuity are a great watch
I can always count on your videos to make my week better. Thanks for the awesome videos!
🥺💓
“I love Alfred” Who doesn’t. He’s freaking awesome 🔥
BRO FINALLY IVE BEEN WANTING U TO REACT TO THIS FOR EVER
Damian has the best character development through out these movies he grows on you real fast and once you near the end of the new 52 movies you Gon feel real sorry for him but real proud to
There’s no way that little Damian would ever beat Slade
Damian is amazing
The only problem with his character in these movies are he's too OP
He defeats nightwing in training and almost In full on combat, takes Slades eye and defeats him later, swims miles, climbs a mountain when he was 4 and all before he had proper development
Sure his grandfather was an excellent teacher but like nightwing said, batman is just superior and yet damien almost defeats batman's greatest son (combat wise, personally I'm more of a Jason guy) bringing him to jason's level of combat (holding back that is I mean he was holding back against batman I think, just luring him to the joker and yea some people can argue nightwing was holding back too cuz he isn't doing it for the kill) anyway jason had been trained by both the league and batman (In a select few timelines) which makes this more odd
Also him defeating deathstroke (someone who batman Constantly has trouble with) all before he gets any sort of training by the bat makes no sense to me
In the comics he is given alot of development and time with characters making him more lovable and every win and loss he takes has reason behind it
Its acknowledged that jason and dick can beat him in a fight easily at his age but that's okay because at some point you know he'd get there and even surpass them
In the animated movies it's really hard to like him as a character If facing the facts
8:05
Batman pretty much said: "you know what getting raped wasn't so bad."
Haven't seen you in a while so this is great 😄👏🏻
I'm glad to see you're continuing to watch this DC animated universe. They're much better than most of the DC live-action shit we've been getting for the past 10 years.
honestly, as a fan of the comics, I used to hate talia too, but I watched this video on her that talked about how dc loves to demonize poc mothers, and have their white fathers be a saviour, which really changed my perspective of talia.. plus it was really our of character for her to harm the ones she loves. anyway great video!
what video are you referencing?
@@Frogman1212 it was a tiktok, mb for not having the link
If these reactions keep coming you best believe I’m a loyal watcher now…
(Even more loyal)
3:45 - To be fair, Slade Wilson IS a super-soldier.
"Subject of a failed military experiment."
That s==t can make a cat like Slade a little cocky.
Damian is a little bad ass!! Only ten , and trained as an assassin. He outclassed and schooled people three times his age.
The Lazarus Pit usually break the mind of the one using it.
Yea..been waiting for this one fine one..you are one of the few doing the DC animated movies...much love to you
I knew she would love damien. Can't wait till she gets to the titans.
Great reaction! This one was definitely an enjoyable movie, and I also loved seeing Nightwing in action!
in the comic nick fury lost his eye to his brother i think. he was a bad guy scorpion if i remember right. anyways he was betrayed by someone he trusted and the eye is a reminder to him
Glad to see you love Damian’s character more than general audiences do.
I love this movie but one thing I wished they did was have all the bat kids meet Damien, especially Jason. I wanna see their dynamic
That old ass man at the beginning of the movie with the long white hair wasn’t a grandfather. That was Talia’s brother. I’m pretty sure he just never used the Lazarus Pit.
The reason I don’t mess with Damian because he killed my boy nightwing in the comics but I like this version because he grows as a character
@uchenna ofoegbu I know it wasn’t canon but that still hurt tho and what is Damians new comic run about
@uchenna ofoegbu gotcha
@uchenna ofoegbu I didn’t know that cause I don’t read Damians vomit but imma have to check it out
Talia roofied Bruce and that is how Damian was conceived. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Quite a story.
leave harlots = bitches leave, from Robocop. literally had a flashback to that scene
Well Cyborg wasn't part of the Justice League until the new 52. He is orginally from the teen titans. Glad you're enjoying the ride.
The name of this movie comes from the pre-New 52 Batman & Robin volume 1 in that Duck Grayson was Batman and Bruce was dead
8:13 u realize they talking about damiens conseption while the kids behind the curtain hearing everything
Tow motors can weigh around 2 tons. The weight is essential for counterbalancing.
Hey, look, everybody.
Damian Wayne's journey begins with two gunshots.

9:05 I always saw Bruce as Alfred's grandfather our king is a great grandfather now
I disagree since there's not enough of a age gap
Bro I need to see Ra's in his prime if he's this nasty after 500 years
16:42 can’t wait till u see how their relationship grows
Since there are a ton of movies in this continuity, if you’re looking to take a break from them you should watch The Dark Knight Returns. It’s in two parts, so you can watch them separately or one after the other.
Its really overlooked at least 3 members of the bat family were assault victims
I actually found your channel today and i love your content so far, really big fan of dc and the animed movies your commentary is really funny
Oh yeah, Talia roofied Batman. Then she grew Damien in an artificial womb so he would be perfect.
Fun Fact:Stuart Allan who voices Damian is a Long Beach boy like me!
Slade is less than a 100 years old. Ra's Al Ghul in comparison is hundreds of years old thanks to his bathing in Lazarus pit.
So it's actually Canon that basically that Talia always has fun consensual sex with Bruce to have Damien at the same time Bruce doesn't necessarily have the best taste in women considering the crazies he has been in relationship with and the murderers
Get you somebody who fawns over you the way Krysta fawns over Nightwing
Fun fact: Damian birthday is August the 9th
Well no wonder I like him and Jason. They’re both Leo’s 😂
If deathstroke is going to do something it’s beef with kids he dose not care 😂 😂 😂
i love how he dissed the robin suit then ends up wearing it lol
I find this movie frustrating. The original Grant Morrison story arc is so much fun, and this film sucks all of the fun out, as if it were embarrassed by the goofiness of the original comics. For example, Damian still says the "I imagined you taller" line from his iconic first appearance, but the execution is completely different. In the film, he emerges from behind Curtain Number Three and slowly approaches his father, whereas Morrison had him suddenly appear with a sword aimed at Batman's neck. Even the Ninja Man-Bats are taken too seriously in this adaptation!
It's been like 6 years since I saw this movie, Damn time flies!!!!
Im so glad that krystalogy is watching one of my favorite movies ever
best line so far "OOOHHHH FUCK!!!!...... shark week"
I wish we saw all the main 4 robins all together then Damian gets to meet all his brothers (I want to see him be friends with Jason, because you know. The would have a lot in common.😁)
YES FINALLY. I’ve been asking you to
Watch this on every single video.
If this was comics deathstroke that has all his gear and powers, Damien would last maybe a minute at most
Honestly I kind of wish the final battle against Deathstroke had Batman and Damian teaming up.
I remember when I was little my dad gave me this movie thank you for making this video.
I've been waiting for you to get into these movies best batman animated movies ark
THANK YOU FOR ADVOCATING FOR CONSENT THAT SCENE MADE ME SO MAD
I recommend reading Batman & Robin from 2010, Dick is Batman & Damian is Robin. & they’re FANTASTIC as that duo.
Love Damian Wayne. The kid is interesting as heck.
Man I remember when people HATED Damian when he first came out 😂
Krysta: I hate her she’s a fucking ZERO!
Batman: nah it wasn’t all bad
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the video Krystal stay motivated dream Big 1 Mill on the way this was good
