What's up I'm RedFalcon and right now I'm playing Mario Party Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. I might play minigames against the Master CPUs, I might play boards against characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi and more?! Is that all of them? We don't know yet! What we do know as that we can play Mario Party Superstars online on boards like Yoshi's Tropical Island, Peach's Birthday Cake, Space Land, Horror Land, and more! I literally grew up on this game and Mario party 8, and while I did prefer 8, I still will always have a soft spot for this game - the boss battles were always my favourite

I would honestly love if you did Story mode. I know it isn’t that different from Party mode but still think it make a fun challenge.
It's Party Mode with extra steps lol
The only difference is that you have to play the boards in a specific order, you can't play as Shy Guy or Kamek cuz they work for Bowser for story purposes, and specifically if either of those two win, you have to start the board over (but you're okay to lose if it's anyone else besides Shy Guy or Kamek winning because potatoes).
@@ethnictendo well it's not exactly because potatoes, it's mainly because Shy Guy and Kamek work for Bowser in the Story Mode and so they'll steal all the mini stars gathered and give them back to Bowser which is what you were working against the whole board
@@Gamebuilder2000 I know, that's not what I was trying to imply. I was implying that it's okay for anyone else besides Shy Guy or Kamek to win, even if it's not you, because potatoes.

To answer your question, you're technically right. If you say no, he still puts down Bowser Spaces, just not very many. Saying yes gives you several Bowser Spaces.
The cpu however decides to say yes every time
I will say I enjoyed Mario Party 9 when it came out. I've heard reasons why the car was a thing and it was so that made people more...involved I guess? Either way I think that reason is kinda dumb. But everyone being in the car just adds more strategy to it on what path to take, items to use and whatnot. First time playing this board in story mode, I got stuck on the last 10 spaces just because everyone kept hitting the reverse space and going backwards. I ended up with over 100 just because one of us landed on Bowser and battled for Half Our Mini Stars. Good first game that gave a bit of how much fun I will have with it.
I think it's easier to appreciate the format now than at the time since at the time we didn't know if this was a permanent direction or not. Now that we know it wasn't, I think it's a fun little switch up. I still think they could have come up with more interesting ways to mix it up, but it's still fun.
For the jigsaw one u need to look at how the pieces fit together with their outlines, not just the image
this was literally my childhood game. I played this non stop on my wii, my all time favourite Mario Party. I honestly prefer MP9 over Super Mario Party Superstars.

I had mp 9 and 8 and Ds and I have super and superstars too. Overall, 8 or superstars was definitely the best, 9 is still good however and I think it gets a more bad reputation than it should, as I think it’s better than ds and super. It has 7 stages with many good minigames and side modes

This game was my childhood! Step It Up and Garden Battle were my two favorite modes, I liked seeing the characters statues and trying to create weird patterns in the flower bed. You've already played Step It Up and Boss Rush so I hope you'll give the other modes a look at as well.
my favourite in mario party 9 is the garden minigame challenge, would love to see a playthrough of that
Edit: It's called "garden battle". It's a lot of fun 👍. It's like mario party combined with tetris (sorta kinda not really but still really fun)

0:11 So you have all characters, boards and probably also vehicles already unlocked, nice! I forgot 9 has so many boards while 10 has so few (and even less in Bowser Party).

Yeah This game was my favorite out of the Mario Parties when I was a kid, I preferred it to 8 and 10, but that was because of the boss rush. I only ever played Party until I could afford boss rush then my and my brother just played that

You gotta play Mario Party 8. It's by far the best out of every Mario Party game. Each board is so unique, each item is so unique, and it has some of the best minigames of all time! If you play a board, play Koopas Tycoon Town because the objective is so much different then anything you have ever played! 😉

17:23 Nice little fakeout the game COULD do is the star hovering over second place, then that character's like "I won" and do their animation, but then the star goes nope and goes to actual first place. A little extra the game does and it's funny when it happens.

I grew up on mario party 9 when I was younger so it holds a special place in my heart
I feel like the strategy for the puzzle minigame is to look at the *shape* of the pieces instead of what's on the pieces.
Please finish mp 9 and 10 also try mp 8 boards keep up the great work
I have a video idea, so basically you should play with friends and the idea is that someone starts with 5 stars. Now the other players who don’t start with 5 stars have to try and beat the person with the 5 stars (kinda like a 1-3) the players could try to steal a star, try landing on chance time and trying to mess with the person with the 5 stars. The person with the 5 stars has to play some defense by stealing coins, dueling and winning mini games so that the the 3 players don’t have enough coins to do much. Nobody can buy stars around the map only steal and the 5 star player can’t steal any stars because it would be unfair. This is an idea for Mario party Superstars!
