I was never an exclusive R&B fan. I listen to all sorts of music as long as there is true talent to be appreciated from those performing what I listen to wheather it be Luciano Pavarotti to Chaka Khan. This woman was one of those artists that falls into that category. Vesta was a tremendous talent that never got the dues she deserved. Even through the hardships she went through in life with things like drug use and depression, she always brought her best while other's would struggle to deliver that level of performance to thier music with lesser emotional baggage. I wish she were alive today to fulfill the comeback of her career that she was in the process of doing before she passed. To "paraphrase" (don't remember his exact words but only to the effect of what he meant) what the late great Miles Davis pointed out before he died of cancer, the tragic punishment of life isn't loosing it...., the real tragedy is getting it back and running out of time when you do get it back. Thanks for posting this video. It is great example that shows the heart this woman brought when she performed her music. 👍
