    This is super helpful!! My ankles both have eversion have it has ruined my running and sprinting form. This is an awesome exercise and a completely new idea that no one else seems to want to address! Thanks mate and much love from Sydney!

      Glad it could help you. Excessive eversion and foot pronation can be super detrimental to athletic performance. Stay tuned as I’ll be realising more videos on how to improve this in the near future!

    I'm going to pick this up. The loading pin is 50mm and will accommodate the Rogue calibrated plates. I overlooked this with another brand and my plates do not fit. It's a great product but the loading pin on the one I purchased is 2" or 50.8mm.

      Definitely one of the main draws to the HGG Iso-tib is the ability to use standard olympic sized/calibrated plates! What was the one you purchased previously that didn't allow for the same size plates?

      @@aldredperformance Solo Tib Bar from Tib Bar Guy. It's really well packaged and is very solid piece but won't work with calibrated plates.

    Great video however this product would be great if it didn’t cost $10,000. Seriously, the price is ridiculous. Anyone looking at this product should highly consider cheaper options. There is a $45 one made in the U.S. that is a double. It cost around $20USD to make your own iso tib bar.

      Completely fair enough. Multiple versions of the same product are great for the consumer. I can’t attest to other brands but the HGG’s is top quality.
      Always worth exploring other options as your budget allows though!

    I wonder how this compares the tib solo bar

      Can't say I've tried the tib solo bar myself but might look into doing a comparison. Would you be interested in seeing a video review of it?

    When your foot goes on the top position when doing the tib raises, does the weight feel like it’s going backwards because of how the weights are positioned? Or does it feel like a cable machine, where the weight is the same no matter the position?

    • @aldredperformance
      @aldredperformance  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't say the weight feels like it's going backwards when foot is in top position but the load doesn't feel equal across the entire movement like a cable machine would. When your foot is pointed away in max plantar flexion, the weight will likely feel a touch heavier than in a foot pulled up to 90 degree position.
      Overall it's a good difficulty curve across the whole movement!

    This thing sucks. So mad I wasted $225 on it. Doesn't fit the foot well. Very difficult to adjust. So. many better, cheaper options now.

    • @aldredperformance
      @aldredperformance  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s fair enough. I’ve found it works well with majority of clients and fits a pretty wide range of foot sizes, always going to have outliers though. Great innovation for a product in a space that didn’t have much previously though.

    • @stayaheadfitness
      @stayaheadfitness ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aldredperformance Sure it fits a wide range of foot sizes, but the adjustment mechanism apparently was made by a caveman because it's very cumbersome to use. Fortunately there are much better options now than this POS.

      I couldn't agree more. A trash piece of equipment that I sold on ebay for a lost.

    What's the max weight it can hold and what size plate would be too big to put on it.

    • @aldredperformance
      @aldredperformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With how the plate loads onto it, there’s not really a max size. A standard 20kg plate would fit. I’ve gone up to 25kg before the locking clamp has started to slide. If you double up on the clamps, you’d be able to really load up though!

    you can do knee curl as well?

    • @aldredperformance
      @aldredperformance  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely can but it doesn’t feel the same as a machine due to the lack of stability. Do-able but you’d be better off choosing another exercise.
