When looking at the Stg model of the kHenetai Occult Cabal squad, You can see they have followed the model to the letter. We know they can do amazing work but i wonder what are the conditions for making the models are from GW.
I really dislike the shiny red color of their armor, makes it look "simple" and a cheap toy. I know it's not Joytoy's fault, as it's the thousand sons design. Thank you for another great review, Sprues!~
100% agree. The toyish look definitely take away from the overall look. Although I do kinda like how the red looks similar to Kamen Rider Kabuto's suit/armor. Something about both being about beetles and sharing that colourway makes me like it a bit more than it should though.
These are Thousand Suns when they were still loyal, normal Space Marines. Blue/Aquamarine is after they became Heretic and were betrayed and all turned into dust inside suits of armor.
What irks me the most about TS figures is that the red on the shoulder pad is a different shade from the rest, and it looks a lot better too.
Kinda cool having a Marine wield two Khopesh/Chepesch.

I really don't like thousand sun's by joytoy? Lots of epoxy and new paint apps are in need. Good gawd*
So what's the difference between red thousand sons and blue?
Red are pre Heresy, blue are post Heresy and corrupted by Tzeench
They turned blue after Ahriman's Rubric, which was what turned most of em into space dust

@@minty257 those are the Horus heresy version (about year 30k), the Warhammer 40k version will be blue if JoyToy decides to make them in the future
