so nice.it is restored. when the pan was treated by adding filler , I thought how it is going to be recalibrated, even the weights are calibrated and balance arms , Is there any way to lock the counter weight?

Great job! Very nice restoration.
One small advice when trying to loose rusted bolts, heat the base or the nut, never the bolt. Heating the piece will make it expand and if you heat and expand the bolt it will tighten even more. Hope it can be helpful! 😉

Hello Michael, I think the gel-like paint remover is better than what I used, It's easier to spread evenly. And Both of them also take the time to clean up the paint.

never use a 12 point socket or wrench if you have a 6 point. Rounding over a hex head is very easy to do with a 12 point socket or wrench.
I couldn't watch after he rounded over the bolt with the cheap socket....
I couldn't find my cloth wheel so I cut up the wife's denim skirt. Oddly enough she hasn't spoken to me for the last week. No sense of priorities that woman.
You do realise the application of heat to metal causes it to expand?
So, if you heat up a Bolt, it will expand, and therefore become tighter within the hole it is sitting!
You should heat up the surrounding area, NOT the bolt!!
12-sided wrenches are crap. Use 6-sided ones !

Why do a lot of these restorations over restore things no need to fill the holes on top and why use possi screws when the originals are slotted KEEP THINGS ORIGINAL WARTS AND ALL
No....,wrong on so many levels. .peace bro...but " i can't find my buffing wheel" and then resort to a cheap Chinese import grinder that nearly stalls when applying minimal pressure and homemade buffing pad, really? Good try my man, step up to the big leagues if you want subs, decent job but not a great job.
