George Schaller, who is still very much alive and active, is recognized by many as the world's foremost field biologist. He is also a noted conservationist. After his work with gorillas, he expanded his research into studying many other species around the world.

His loss of amnesia started in 1946. I imagine in those years and the 1950s, it was alot more easier to get meaningful employment, a bank account, etc, without any ID or get new ID with a new name. He got jobs loading boxcars, at a casino in reno, nevada, a railroad detective in California, a juvenile counselor in sacramento, and even a deputy sheriff in nevada.
The modern version is easier for me. They 1st. tell the person's situation, and THEN bring them out. Easier for me to "vibe" it that way. I did quess the amnesia victim right off the bat 'cause he looked the most "damaged", with all due respect. It showed in his eyes big time.
